This worked for me. The Microsoft XML and Adobe had to be updated in order for Lock to work properly. All good, thanks man!

i cannot get this software update to work for the life of me. whole situation tilts me bad.
on another note: no online poker, no universal healthcare, horrible education system, no jobs, yet people still call this the greatest country on earth. laughable.

Wow. If I'd wanted to play poker on software that looked an ran like this I would have invented a ****ing time machine and gone back to 2004. (And that would have been at least as easy as getting the stupid thing to open on a Mac in the first place.)

I would rather play old school planet poker software than this. Good thing I live n Kentucky and have plenty of options.

I would just delete all Lock files and start over.

I had to re-download the zip file. When I extracted the files, I had them put in a separate folder. When I initiated the setup file, it prompted me to add Lock to applications. From there, I followed the steps to update XML and Adobe.

Re: Mac users unable to play on Revolution??? (Yes! solution in thread)

This software is absolutely terrible for Mac users. I was hoping for big things when they said there would be a Mac version when they switched over to Revolution but this is a major let down. I mean i have absolutely no clue when it comes to software programming but could one of these sites at least take a hint and design something that at least resembles Full Tilt? I know it might not run the same but I feel that they should be able to put out something that is at least aesthetically similar. Then again maybe thats not even close to possible for some reason.

The positive side of all this is that Lock Poker will be experiencing immediate repercussions for the foul-up with Mac client software: loss of business from players on Macs. This should prompt them to move quickly on resolving the issues.

Lets hope so because I was really excited for this move because I thought they were going to offer a better software than merge but at this point RPM and Carbon are looking really good again.

Yes, I thought there might be a difficult transition and set up a Carbon account a couple of weeks ago to keep one foot in the Merge Network. Similarly punishing rake, however.

Re: Mac users unable to play on Revolution??? (Yes! solution in thread)

We understand that this product isn't up to our usual standards but with the move to Revolution our main focus was to ensure our players could actually play. With the old Cake software not having a Mac client we had to find a workable solution and this is what we have put together.

The software in needs a major overhaul and we are undertaking this immediately, but the first step had to be to move our players over. We are all Mac users here so this is a very high priority for us.
