Losing every important pot now Losing every important pot now

Hi any other winning withdrawing mtt regs losing every important pot over and over on this network? I mean with all of the cash flow and revenue problems i keep hearing about i'm starting to wonder if i'm being cheated. 3 outers just hitting religously to knock me out of tourneys but my 3 outers are just nowhere to be found. Never a good run of cards like i have felt in the past anymore. And I know what they feel like, been playing for many years. just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this. Take the variance and stick it where the sun don't shine b/c this aint variance. Anybody else notice this?

I've noticed the same thing!! I submitted a withdrawal and the next thing I know I'm getting 2 and 3 outed. That s*** never happens in poker. Never.

IT HAPPENS TO ME EVERDAY!!! I have dealt with variance b4 but this way too much!

It means you're in "Tier 4". Read the fair play FAQ / education blitz.

nope, business as usual... But then again my MTT ROI is way higher than your 38%. In other words, standard variance. Your perception is based on a 500 mtt sample size, not to mention that more likely than not you ran above EV during the 1st half, and now it's just the classic case of 'reversion to the mean'.

another day of exactly the same thing....it's every day now...Revolution has clearly stopped me from winning b/c i have been cashing out on the regular...just a joke

anybody who thinks this is real poker is a joke also

Online Poker is so rigged

Another way to protect fish

I keep winning every big pot even when I get it in bad. Haven't cashed out Ina while tho. I think lock is rigged lol even when I try to lose a pot I win it

Running even a little bad in tournaments figure to make them bad, and running even a little good figure to make them good. Playing cash games with not too high a rake and vs. not too tough opponents, it's still possible to win, but I could think of many of my bad runs like during 10k of hands (many has been running worse still but it's suspect if it's just because of variance) at many sites and could just wonder if it's all luck in tournament poker. But I don't think people like Hellmuth and Negreanu were just lucky, and they play live where one gets far less hands in, though also the fields are softer still. I am not exactly sure of what one is to think but variance is one reason why I don't play much tournaments myself, being one of those who think it being just an additional thing that's mainly luck though the expectation is higher.

this is just one more downside of things like "fair play technology". when you start screwing with stuff to grab a buck it makes people more paranoid and they start to wonder what else you would do. even though this particular thing is dumb, you can put part of the blame on yourselves for people having less trust.
03-20-2013 , 04:57 PM
LOL I think this is normal. At least in online poker

Live is much more rigged

I swore I'd never fall into this type of paranoid thinking, but... at this point, I'm on board. I too have a pending payout and ever since I've been getting crushed with runner runner and 2 - 4 out rivers. This isn't some "reversion to the mean" BS. I play strong and wait until I'm good before getting it all in. I can understand this happening from time to time but this is beyond the pale.

I mean if you have been playing for a long time you know what a good run feels like period. I just haven't been having them at all in months. Where is the string of flips that I win in a row late in tourney's. I mean I've had streaks where I've lost over ten in a row. But never and I mean never can I ever remember winning that many in a row. Good variance is just nowhere to be found. I too never wanted to fall into this tpye of thinking but I'm sorry I've seen enough on this site to make me skeptical.

The important thing here is timing...all of these stories come at times like jared posted above...with a pending payout. Also these ridiculous beats come at points in tourneys w/ the biggest pots. Write down your 10 biggest pots of the day and tell me how many of them you win. There are some incredibly talented mathmeticians in this world as we can see with all types of different programming. We would be a fool not to believe that there is a way to hide this bs in the hand histories.

dude, get over yourself. You've been on Revolution for under 4 months, and have averaged about $650/month in profit. I regularly cash out more than this each week, and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary... Yes bad beats happen, and I see all sorts of crazy **** day in and day out, but guess what, it's been like that for as long as I can remember. Learn proper BR management, i.e. 100-200 buyins, and realize once and for all that you are not as good as you think you are. I have played vs you in mtts, and in sngs, and you have some very obvious leaks in your game.
