Does cashing out on the casino side or poker side make a difference? Would it be faster, slower or the same?

It's def worth depositing on. If you do now you can probably still clear some of the Ronin. WU is really easy to deposit and withdraw on.

^ u can't unless u use p2p transfers. currently the only withdraw option is checks of 3k. looks like the current wait time for these are 3 months. thats 12k a year. your local mcdonalds worker is making more money

I was assured that my latest check would be arriving two weeks ago. Nothing then i get a email today saying they had unexpected delays. Expect it in another 2-4 weeks. Im Dan Pignataro. I came in 2nd in the battle of the knights leaderboard thing and now have a high lock balance but live in the US. Selling Lock $ at .80 vig. Have 3-4 transfers from about 3 months ago but ran up the balance again.

Have 2 friends who have been scammed selling on merge. If you are not experienced with trades will force you to send first. If you are, I dont mind sending first. Will still trade larger amounts in increments.

If you are experienced at trading, shouldn't your post count be higher? Or were you doing it elsewhere? People will probably want to see/ verify your trade history.

You should also probably be posting this in one of the transfer threads...

People warn about using quickpay because the payments can apparently be reversed, and since you will probably be dealing with more experienced traders, it is likely you will have to send first, which you noted.

Make sure you read the rules if you haven't in those threads (looks like you have). If you go over to those threads, there is a lot of lock money out there, so .8 might be tough to get right now. Guys are selling in the .6's even and .8 is the highest I've seen, but rarely. Guess it depends on how patient you are willing to be.

Also, be wary of random people emailing or PMing. Some guy emailed me a day or 2 pretending to be a reg I had PMed. Apparently scammed a few people and it is being discussed on the transfer threads.

if/when is WU coming back as an option for US players?

The only information we have been given is "as soon as possible".

No one has given a specific time-frame. We have been "assured' that WU is in fact coming back, just no date.

Been playing on Lock a few weeks and they took off the WU withdrawal option right before I decided to withdraw some funds. FWIW i went ahead and requested 3000 check but am considering canceling it in hopes WU comes back soon. (WU would be much more convenient for me ATM).

FYI - although this is definitely the wrong place for the above post - i just want to point out for any newbies that are trying to sell their lock balance that chase quick pay is an extremely shady option - as the sender has the option to retract the transfer up to 72 hours afterwards. be wary of anyone that tries to trade using this method.

Cashout limits per WU withdrawal are $2,000. You are charged a 10% fee for each WU withdrawal. On your first withdrawal per month, you can be reimbursed for the full fee amount. Example, you withdrawal $2,000 via WU, and $2,200 is taken out of your account ($2,000 + $200 fee). Lock will put $200 back in your account.

You are allowed 1 WU withdrawal per week, but it takes several weeks to receive the WU withdrawal, and you cannot have more than 1 withdrawal pending at a time.

You do not need to deposit via WU in order to use a WU withdrawal.

No one knows when the WU will return. We have been told several times it will return as soon as possible.

I don't think you're allowed to post in the transfer threads w/o PM's enabled. Probably why he posted here.

However, Dan if you click "Two Plus Two" on the left to expand it there will be a listing for "Marketplace" and within that one will be "giftcards" where a lot of vig merchants will have threads you can post on w/o incurring infractions I believe.

.8's unlikely however.
