WHy would you recommend this? There HAS NOT been ONE SUCCESSFUL bank transfer to date. You guys haven't answered ONE question relating to a bank transfer or the timeframe on it. Now can I get your explanation of why you would "recommend" the direct bank transfer option...

Finally got an encouraging response from support. I was just told a manager would be reviewing my cashout immediately. Will keep everyone updated.

requested $250 via WU on 2/24
it was approved on 2/27
i emailed support asking when i will be able to pick this up and they said they are waiting for WU to do their part..what does that mean? western union takes less than 1 hour in real life
03-06-2012 , 11:57 PM
could someone briefly explain to me how WU works? ie. if i do a WU withdrawal, am i able to pick up funds at any WU? or a specific one? is it cash only?

thanks.

You receive the amount you request, then the 10% fee is added.

So you could request and receive the full $250, as long as you had $275 in your account.

You request a cashout and then Lock sends it through it's channels to get it processed. Once processed, you'll receive an email with a MTCN# and some other information about the sender of the funds. Go to ANY WU location, fill out the Receive Money form with the information from the email + your own info, hand to the person working there and collect cash after they process the transaction in store.

Nah, authorized doesn't really mean anything imo. Once it's processed then you can pick up money.

I'm not saying it's impossible to get this in 1 day, just that particular post is not indicating a 1 day total transaction.

Who takes the $25 fee? WU or lock? I think paying 10% is really steep, no?

Payment processor. If it's your first cashout of the month, you can email lock they will reimburse this fee.

Yes, keep in mind that I stated "first cashout of the month". Lock will reimburse VIP players for the fees associated with one cashout regardless if it's WU, check, or wire. So if you get the fees reimbursed on the WU and try to cashout again later in the month, you'll be hit with a fee that can't be refunded.
