Yes, it is from Nicaragua but the email did not specify a city. When I went to get the money from wu today not having a city was a problem. Still no response from customer service. While I am very glad that the money was sent, and not even too perturbed that it took twice as long as listed, not being provided the necessary information to pick up the money is fairly mindboggling.

To follow up, support just emailed me back stating that they don't have the city that the wu is being sent from as wu does not provide it to them. Any advice? I've never used wu before so I'm really confused as to whether the woman at wu today was being weird (she did check with her supervisor though so going back without the city and trying again seems unlikely to work) or if lock support is giving me some kind of run around.

Western Union can be fussy, I had a situation when I got my credit card swiped while travelling and a friend sent me some cash whereby they wouldnt release my money because my passport had a middle name but my friend didnt use it when he sent the wire.

I tired a second WU outlet who gave me the same story, but when I pushed the issued they tried and it worked. So it seems their guidelines are stricter than their actual computer systems.

So I'd try a second outlet and persuade them to at least try to put it through.

I am following up with support now. I removed your e-mail from the posts for your safety now that I have it. Be careful posting your e-mail that you use for poker accounts on here, as sometimes people use the public forums as a way to gather e-mail addresses to try and hack.

Is the max WU still $250? If so, Rizen, any estimation on when this restriction will be lifted and the max will be back to $850 or whatever it was before? Also about how long is it taking for people to receive their mtcn number?

After many hassles and intervention from Rizen I finally recieved a check from lock. THEN I GOT AN EMAIL SAYING DON'T CASH THE CHECK THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH IT. THEY ARE SWITCHING IT TO WESTERN UNION. OBV LOCK ISN'T ABLE TO DO PROPER BUSINESS.....

Dude just go get you a WU gold Mastercard at the store and you can get the MTCN # loaded on the card, And you dont have to deal with live person, easy as pie.

I've posted this other places but it was one batch from a particular processor and was on their end. Obviously in the current environment things are difficult, but from what I understand future payouts are being handled by another processor and other checks have been clearing it was just the one batch.

Not to minimize the issue here, but all users have been getting expedited WU payments to make sure they get cash in hand. This isn't a matter of not having the cash it's a processor issue. Future checks should work fine.

Rizen, I have already successfully withdrawn from Lock via western union back on 2/4. Why can't I see the option for WU on my withdrawal list now? I can only see 3 options: bankwire, ecocard, or currier check.....I am a US player. Please let me know whats going on...I know its hard to be consistent in a rough climate as I see in other posts the amount has dropped to a max of $250 "temporarily" but I should at least be able to see the option and withdrawal that way again right?
