To follow up, support just emailed me back stating that they don't have the city that the wu is being sent from as wu does not provide it to them. Any advice? Western Union can be fussy, I had a situation when I got my credit card swiped while travelling and a friend sent me some cash whereby they wouldnt release my money because my passport had a middle name but my friend didnt use it when he sent the wire.
I tired a second WU outlet who gave me the same story, but when I pushed the issued they tried and it worked. So it seems their guidelines are stricter than their actual computer systems.
So I'd try a second outlet and persuade them to at least try to put it through.
