Lock WU Withdraw - Page 55 - Two Plus Two

I went to a local check cashing place in NJ that offers Western Union and the guy did ask for my social. Also, I found it weird that he moved a video camera, that was connected to a computer, to point directly at me as we were doing the transaction. LOL

In case anyone hasn't tried it or didn't know, the bank at Wal-Mart (Woodforest National Bank) accepts WU and accepted my money transfer request of $1819 today.

Requested WU full amount on 7/12 got the MTCN today and had no problems getting the money. Went to a check cashing place. I went to a supermarket first since it was closer and the said they didn't have enough money. Went smooth after that.

Update: Went to check cashing place that offered WU services. They had to issue two checks, because they can only write a check for 1,000 each. Very smooth easy transaction, just had to give MCTN and my DL. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come on Lock!

How does cashing out via WU go? They give you a number, you go to a WU, give them the number, and they write you a check? Can you get cash?

They give you the name of the sender and shortly after the control number. That is all I needed plus my drivers license to prove who I was. They give you cash.

So it looks like most people are getting there WU cashouts within 12 days. I did a cashout on 7/17/12 so I hope within the next few days I get my MTCN# I will update how it goes for me.

I have gotten two western unions for 2k each and neither time did I have to give my SSN. I love in Iowa not sure if that makes a difference.

I requested 7/10, got approval 7/21. Sent verification forms in 7/23. Didn't know about verification. Got no reply from Lock about verification. Should there be and indication on cahier page that account is verified? Still has Don't have MTCN I don't think. How do you get it to show MTCN?
