Just be happy if u get the money. There are no timeframes people! My last cashout was 1/06 and I got it late march; yet there's request from before 1/06 that still have nothing. You are an imbecile if you still play on Lock

Western Union Withdrawals
Control #s will appear after transactions have completed processing. Payments must be collected within 25 days once the MTCN has been issued.

Underneath that is a guy's name from the Philippines saying the status is Accepted

Am I good to go now???
Once you get the MTCN, you should be good to go, just don't show up to the Western Union store in a wool hat and ski mask and you'll be fine. Also be prepared to say that you know the person from the Philippines. I once couldn't pronounce the name and had to tell the Western Union employee I had a speech impediment. I have to admit it was quite fun watching her slide the cash across the table, especially when she said "stay out of trouble".

HAHA that's awesome. Yeah I've done a WU cashout before... didn't have to know how to pronounce the person's name but thanks for the heads-up.

Ugh, so I still have to wait for MTCN? Blah, probably shouldn't expect that any time soon considering how long this process has been already...

I can't believe the people ask you questions when you pick up the money. They should mind their own ****ing business.

Since then I have emailed support and cashier and have gotten no responses.

That doesn't seem very clear to me.
My read on the situation is Lock had a few people in the Philippines to process WU withdraws through. I am not sure exactly what happened next, but it seemed those people got overwhelmed and there were serious delays. I pulled my money because I thought there was a chance the site was going under as I am sure others did. That overwhelmed the few processors they had and caused huge backlogs around the time we requested. Now that they secured new processors, the newer requests are being processed in 2 weeks again. I think it is clear we get paid because newer requests are getting paid and I think we are stuck in that backlog with the original group of processors, which will be worked out soon.

Note that this is based on my educated guess from what I have heard from management and the way recent withdrawals have played out. I am not some shill for lock. I think it is bull**** that newer withdrawals are getting paid out and it is absolutely absurd that Lock support continues to set specific time tables for payout that don't come through, essentially lying to their customers. I do, however, believe Shane's repeated comments that this is the realty of online poker in US post-black Friday and still think we get paid. Maybe I am just being naive.

You are absolutely being naive. This is absolutely not the "reality of online poker in the US post-black Friday." Within the past month I have requested 2 check cash-outs from another site. The first was received via Fed Ex 13 days after I requested it. The second cash-out was out was received in 8 days. both cash outs were free as I requested one in the calendar month of March and one in April.

The way Lock treats it's customers is absurd and an anomaly. This behavior will ultimately result in them losing market share to their competitors. It is my hope that they improve as I do prefer several aspects of Lock's site such as the software, some of the promotions, and some aspects of the tournament schedule, however none of that matters if you can't get paid when you win.

That is why I am actively playing at another site and why you probably should be as well, unless of course you are fine with waiting 3 months to get paid. I am not fine with that especially after I was promised to be paid within 7-14 days. Seeing as how it has been over 9 weeks and I still haven't received any money (still just verified) it would have been more accurate for them to quote me a timeline of 7-14 weeks.

Not all Western Union agents do. Unfortunately when you go there, it wouldn't help the situation to tell the employee "mind ya effin biz and give me my effin money, this effin online poker site finally paid me"

I've had them say, "Do you do business with this person?" and I simply smiled and said, "yes".

I was simply suggesting you take your business elsewhere next time.

Thank you, it was in a supermarket and I might be, just might be a little more thick-skinned, but they have a great vegetable aisle and the steaks are super too.

First email I received from Shane on 3/29:
"Ive sent this over to the cashier manager to see what I can find out for you."

The second one second on I received today:
"I havent been able to get an update on this for you yet but I have sent your details over to the cashier manager to see what I can find out for you."

Is he just sending everyone the same bs or what?...

Would be real nice if Lock would relax the restriction on having only one WU withdrawal at a time for those of us waiting 2+ months without sender info. As much as it sucks, I think we're all hardening to the reality that withdrawal times will vary considerably, and any one of us may or may not get lucky on a particular request. But that hardship is compounded significantly when waiting ages for a withdrawal also means missing out on opportunities to make other requests. I don't begrudge anyone running hot on WUs, but it's seriosuly frustrating watching Lock's exacerbate the disparities created by their awful cashier.
