You're confusing me with other poster .. I'm the guy waiting 9 days on WU getting runaround from support lol

Yes, you need ID to pickup money from WU. Your account information also must match what is on your ID.

Simple concept, don't hurt yourself thinking.

Seriously man, are you that dense? It wasnt denied picking it up. It was denied by Western Union when they tried to send it, at least that is what I was told. If they tried to send it under the name Al, how would Western Union know that wasnt my full name and deny it? The answer is they wouldnt know and wouldnt decline the transaction. Now, if Western Union simply "advised" them to use a full name when they tried to send to Al, that is different, but that also isnt a declined transaction either. The point is, if I want to send you some cash today via Western Union, they will ask for my ID and your name. If I give them some shortened version of your name, Western Union wouldnt know what is and isnt your full name, so they wouldnt decline the transaction. You might have a problem picking it up if your ID didnt match exactly, but I wouldnt have a problem sending it. I know this must seem like rocket science to you, but thats the easiest I can explain it.

I can confirm today that I received my confirmation and picked it up at Western Union, CASH IN HAND. 23 full days after my first request, but a coincidental 12 hours after I posted my situation in this thread. So I can confirm that Western Unions are in fact being processed, but I would advise anyone to post their situation on the board because mine got resolved quite quickly after I did that.

I don't know how anyone doesn't understand this situation... How on earth could western union know you personal information isn't correct and make that call without knowing WHO YOU ARE ahead of time. It's obviously an excuse on Lock's part.

Yes, you definitely need your ID when picking up a Western Union. But what Lock said was that my transaction was Declined because my name was shortened, which is hard to believe because Western Union doesnt have any clue who I am or what my name is, they would only know Lock is trying to send money to a guy named "Al".

Just started playing on Lock. This is my first withdraw.

Requested the withdraw on 5-15. Approved on 5-23. Based on this thread I should received an email with a pick up number. Is that correct?

Like i said a while ago i probably did 10 WU withdrawals before the move, all of them i got within 72 hours. They are just running slow right now will eventually get it.

requested 6/2 still waiting

Anyone know anything about this. I requested a Wu for 350.00 on 6/4. This is the way it is showing in my cashier now:
2012-06-04 01:40:24 AM Lock Transfers Withdrawal Approved! ($265.00)
2012-06-04 01:40:24 AM Lock Transfers Withdrawal Requested ($265.00)
2012-06-04 01:39:43 AM DF-EPT_WU Withdrawal Requested ($385.00)

Customer support keeps telling me that my 350 WU request has not been approved, but cannot explain to me why it says that 265 was also requested? Any ideas?

You should receive an email, but I have a problem and have never received the email. I wait until I see that it has been approved in the cashier then email them asking for the info. They always tell me that the message must be in my spam folder, but it never is. Very efficient.

Did you transfer $265 from Vault to player account? or from Casino to Poker, because if you do something like that it will show as that.

I also Would advise anyone that wants to withdraw from Lock with Western Union, or anything with Western Union is to go to Local Western Union, and Get Western Union PrePaid Visa Gold card Debit card, it is awesome you can deposit on Lock with it, and you also can Sign your card up online with WEstern Union and send money to people online from you card, and also get your money on your Card with your MTCN, and if there is error with the name or anything customer support with Western Union debit card will help with changing the name and make life so much easier, Promise that!!!

I'm thinking of switching from Merge and was wondering...
