Hey all,

Just a quick update that to thank everyone who emailed me.

I have now compiled a master list of all the outstanding cashouts from that October - November time period and sent that over to the cashier manager and our CEO so that we can be sure these are all sorted with the greatest of speed.

Some players have already written back to say theirs came through, this will continue over the next little while and we can get back to much faster cashout speeds for everyone.

woo!
For those of us who went from Requested to Verified, what does this mean? Any idea on a timeframe for such a scenario? I saw several went from Requested to Sender Info to MTCN... so I'm a little worried that Verified means an extended waiting time...

79 days total
have yet to pick it up western union was down for my grocery store lol
way too long of a wait and stress with this money i expected within 30 days.
removed the rest of my funds off lock besides .94 cents.

Sidenote

Western Union charges $10 to send up to 800 dollars
%10 charge for western union is a bit harsh
if the cashouts become faster u would be losing up too 200 dollars each cashout if its not one a month. crazy.
anyways thanks to everyone for helping me with this long cashout with their daily posts of whats goin on with them. This made it easier to know that i would get my cashout someday nd i wasnt the only one. GG GL HF

CIH: today
had to find a bank with western union to cash out over 1k grocery stores and non banks all do either 600 800 or 1k. so dont waste your time if youre cashout is over 1k just go to bank. Fifth third did mine real easy no problem. GG

I've gotten a 1500 at a Kroger fwiw, so not all have those caps.

Just a heads up on the fee, thats the fee charged by the processor not by us. Those funds go directly to the processor.

In the case of the 1 free transaction a month we pay that fee to the processor on behalf of the player. (Also important to note that with the new cashier this is now automatic and not done as a refund)

I can't wait until I have the problem of PICKING UP my cash...

yea my last WU actually got questioned then denied at an Amscot, and the grocery store wouldn't do a 2k one. I went to my bank and they did it no questions asked, and actually set me up so I can cash WU's easier from now on. If they actually started arriving in a timely fashion from Lock things would be good for me on the withdrawal end.

Yea not all WU locations will have enough cash on hand but if they don't they will cut you a check you can then take to your bank that day.

I just picked mine up today at a casino to avoid that issue.

WU withdrawal
10/21 req
11/12 denied/resub
12/17 sender info
1/5 MTCN email
1/7 CIH

a mere 76 days from request to money available.

I keep checking the cashier hoping to see MTCN. No idea what "Verified" means... :/

So you can just go to your bank with the Western Union MTCN and sender info and they will deposit it into your account?

Is this standard for the larger bank chains (BOA, WF, etc.)?

Some banks use western union, most don't. Check on WU website to see which ones do.

Has anyone tried one of those Western Union cards when doing a WU withdrawal?
01-07-2013 , 09:01 PM
WU seems to have prepaid card service as well.
Has anybody done this before?

Haha, same question as AreAlmAdmAn

Bodog once sent out prepaid cards to players a while back. Withdrawals were loaded within 48 hours.

I wasn't talking prepaid. Western Union has a debit card where you can spend and transfer money. I was just wondering if anybody had used one for when receiving a withdrawal as opposed to going to a Western Union location and filling out the form.

Lots of players have done this in the past, if no one replies you can search this thread and you will find them talking about it.

Not true...atleast out here in cali it wasnt hard.I went in to a popular grocery store to get my 1500 wu withdraw with no problem. All they asked for was the mtcn # and I got 3 wu money orders of 500 each that they print out right there, with my name on them.I was in and out in 5 minutes........painless

quick question, i guess instead of creating a new thread, ill just post here.

i requested WU on the last day of last year, 12/31/12. i think Lock's time is 5 or 6 hours ahead of my time, so it's saying i requested that on 1/1/13.

wondering if that counts has a DEC 2012 withdraw, or a JAN 2013 withdraw?

just asking because if it counts as a JAN 2013 withdraw, i don't want to request another WU this month, as ill be hit with a fee.

The exact time in ur situation is irrelevant because LOCK counts the cashout based on when its done processing.

Plus, doesn't seem possible to me to resquest two at once, it will just ask if u wanna cancel the first.

I would be surprised if Shane gives you a straight answer he will probably say, "We will work as fast as possible to get you your cashout."

From my research throughout the Lock Support forum I would anticipate it will take you anywhere from 10-18 weeks. Yeah
