Lock WU Withdraw Lock WU Withdraw

My WU option was gone about a week ago, then it was available for a few days and I did a request, and now I guess it's down again. My understanding is that he processor controls what withdrawal options you are able to see and issues with an option can lead to it not being available while they work it out.

WU has routinely gone down for short periods of time for US players on Lock while they switch to different processors. Where are you getting your info?
11-19-2012 , 04:23 PM
Shane stated earlier in the thread that the option is removed automatically when their processor is having issues.

It is normally for only a few hours at a time.

Declined today

that was fast

Requested : 11/12
Declined : 11/19

waiting on sender info
11-19-2012 , 09:03 PM
Requested: 10/15
Accepted: 11/7
Still pending....

Pretty infuriating that people requesting weeks after me already have their money.
11-19-2012 , 09:15 PM
Requested: 10/12
Cash in hand: 11/19

Went to a check cashing place, fast and didn't get hassled

Do the people at WU ever hassle you or ask what the money is from??? Also, even if you're cashing out 2k do they just give you cash and let you go on your way?

I go to a grocery store (Publix)
Fill out paperwork, sign name, collect money and walk away.

I'm in the exact same boat, Request 10/15, Approved 11/7, waiting on MTCN.

Disappointing, but hopefully we get our money by the end of the week.

Sorry everybody this is extremely basic, naive, whatever. I have only cashed out from online poker by receiving checks. It wasn't a problem with Full Tilt but I am a little more wary of Full Tilt Is Western Union more effective? What specific method you would recommend for Lock? Much appreciated.

How much are your cashouts for? I'm only asking because I couldn't imagine being able to go to a local grocery store to collect 2k in cash from them.... I'd imagine anything over a few hundred dollars would be too much for them to be able to cash but I'm new to the WU option so I very well might be wrong.

$1800 and $2k. Its a big chain and they cash payroll checks all day so the money is not a problem. Plus the employees just work there unlike some wu or check cashing stores where the owner is onsite. it was like buying a pack of gum.

I think the check cashing limit at Publix is $500 so they don't cash big checks because of the risks but WU is guarantee money so limits are larger everywhere. Don't stress it

Requested 11/11/12

Denied 11/19/12

Received e-mail stating that it was declined but re-submitted to faster processor. Funds back in Casino.

11/20/12

Received e-mail that they are only able to send WU payouts to one of the 50 states. Guam is a territory. IDK what the difference is. There is a WU at every corner here. Funds now back in Poker.

Will update as we go along. Contacted support and was advised that it had been forwarded to cashier support. Dont know what to do from here. I guess ill just have to wait and see.

Most places, including grocery stores, don't allow more than $500 cash. Many will cut you checks though. I go to a Harris teeter and they do two $1k checks. It was painful and took forever at first. But they know me now and it's quicker and less painful

Would you recommend going to a store like you've mentioned or an actual Western Union store location??
11-20-2012 , 01:12 AM
Honesty I've never been to an actual western union store. I don't have one conveniently nearby. I would imagine that would be 100% best

Okay, one last thing. I did some searching and see some banks offer Western Union services. Do you think that this would be best besides the actual WU store locations? (i.e. better than a grocery store location, etc.)

I requested a cashout on 2012-11-03 12:45:28 PM and it's still pending for approval, im not from the us, is it normal?

Makes sense to me
Actual WU > bank with WU > grocery store with WU > random place with WU > waiting for a Lock check

Well, here's my status again:

Requested 10/24
Decline/Approved 11/12
11/20 - No sender info, no mtcn. Still says "pending"

day 8 of no info after decline/approve...
11-20-2012 , 12:11 PM
All- based on recent cash out timelines, it looks like the average cash out is taking 31 calendar days to receive your MTCN.

If it has been less time than that, please DO NOT post ITT.

If it has been more time than that, I would recommend sending an email to Shane.

Thanks.
