^^ Where did you see that?

EDIT: Nevermind...lol. It's probably temporary...but yeah, it would be nice for Mr. Shane to preempt some of the worry with updates when these things happen.

Update about not seeing WU option, I emailed support and they responded saying its a bug that theyll look into.

I also got the approval message before I noticed my wu option missing, and like someone earlier said it may just disappear while youre in that approval/waiting for mtcn window.

Anyone who receives a random email offering to buy or help with Lock funds should NOT reply!!!!

It is 99% likely it's a scammer!!

I actually dont get updates myself, the cashier is setup to automatically remove options that are temporarily down or while we are working on them specifically with our continued work to integrate our new cashier. Thats what most of the recent outages seem to have been.

Some of the outages are a few minutes some are hours, so posting notifications on them all is tricky.

As above these are just temporary outages, because everything is integrated from the processor to our cashier if there is a server outage or something needs to be worked on then the option will automatically disappear from players cashiers and return when the problem is solved.

We currently have no great amount of control over the cashier setup which is why we are making the move, part of this is to be able to have more detailed messaging to players to explain these situations as they happen right in the client.

Requested: 10/27
Declined/Approved: 11/14 --10% fee put back into account
Sender Info: Waiting
MTCN: Waiting

10/27 WU withdrawal request
10/27 Self-requested to validate my account. Response "Players are able to withdraw from their accounts at any time. Players do not need to submit documentation for this unless specifically asked to do so by ourselves."
11/14 Declined email. Money refunded to casino balance. 5 hours later transferred to poker balance
11/14 Received an email requesting me to validate my account. Never asked to validate any of my visa deposits. What a shocker!!!
F*ck Lock poker. The excuses of "server down time" or "outages" or "overloads" are absolute garbage. At least make an effort to fool me. If everything between your cashier and processor is integrated why the heck does it take 14 days to tell me verify my account. I know western union doesn't have these problems so what "processor" are you talking about. Besides if you really wanted to process a withdrawal you would do it manually. But alas... that isnt the case. I'm going back to bet online. I will get my money back from lock with chargebacks. Thanks for wasting my time lock. My corporate visa is with citibank. I'll be damned if you will be able to continue accepting visa credit cards once I find out the bank processing these visa deposits.

Just validate your account. Everybody has to do it. Good luck selling your lock money without a validated account and after you said you were going to chargeback. Anybody buying your money would be putting themselves at risk.

I really hope this "new cashier" is all I'm dreaming it to be.

Sorry if this was already addressed in the thread...
My withdraw was approved today and I am now waiting on the Sender info/MTCN. I requested it 10/27.
If I request another withdraw in November will I still have to pay the 10% fee? Or would this count as a new month, and I would get reimbursed?
11-15-2012 , 09:21 AM
It's based on when you are approved.
11-15-2012 , 09:29 AM
Requested 10/11
Declined/accepted 10/29
Sender name 11/10
Control number- Still waiting

Requested: 10/25
Declined/Approved: 11/12 --10% fee put back into account
Sender Info: Waiting
MTCN: Waiting

Requested : 10/25
Aprroved Email with Sender and MTCN : 11/13
CIH: 11/14

This was my first time withdrawing from Lock and unlike seemingly everybody else here, I was not initially declined and then reprocessed. The only emails I got were the withdrawal submission and the withdrawal approved emails. It's nice to run good.

Does lock poker reimburse you for the Western Union fee? Want to cash $500 out but not very happy looking at a $50 fee for it It says 1 free withdrawal, but at the same time it says 10% for WU
11-15-2012 , 02:35 PM
NM Got a quick answer from support, now where the heck is the WU withdrawal options??!!

Why is it that it takes several days to receive the MCTN after the sender has appeared? I'm not familiar with the inner workings of WU, it seems like the Sender, amount, and # should all be part of the same paperwork, no?

Can we get clarification on this? My understanding was the 1/month refund is based upon the request date
11-15-2012 , 02:57 PM
Thanks Ditch. That seems odd, I'll have to double check my records. Pretty sure I've requested one towards the end of a month that didnt get approved till very early the following month, then went on to request another cashout + approval in the same month with both cashouts receiving a refund. My logic was that the first cashout refund was applied to the previous month. Might have just ran hot.

The way I imagine it is that Lock gives your info to their processor, lets call him Tom. Tom gets the info, and the infos of say ~30 other payouts. He goes and processes all of those once a week. That's what I envision.

Shane,

In the new cashier can we still do P2P transfers?

I just want to share my story to shed some light on questions or worries about cashing out via Western Union on Lock.

Here's my cashout breakdown:

10.15.12 - Requested a check by courier, received confirmation email from Lock

11.1.12 - emailed Lock Customer Service inquiring about check's "status" (i could've waited the duration 4-5 weeks before emailing, but I was just curious)

11.2.12 - check by courier declined, payout comments: state restriction, please use Western Union (i live in beautiful pot loving online poker hating WA)

11.2.12 - requested cashout via Western Union, received confirmation email from Lock

11.15.12 - cashout via Western Union declined (1:51am pst), payout comments: re-submitted to new poker cashier

I woke up around 4:40am to this declined email and emailed them asking why this was cancelled and asked for details of the situation, in a kind manner.

11.15.12 - response from Lock at 7:58am letting me know the payout was cancelled and resubmitted to the expedited Poker Cashier MINUS the 10% WU fee. I currently have the fee in my poker account ready for action CS also let me know that it would take 5-7 business days for me to recieve the MTCN, Senders Name and Address.

11.15.12 - at 12:35pm, received confirmation email from Lock in receipt of the Western Union payout request.

All in all, this has been a little bit longer of a process then i had expected, but looking at the circumstances given, i understand why it would take so long to process these types of transactions. For me, Customer Service was speedy and quick to repsond and have always contacted my within the business days allowed.

But....when I do receive the MTCN/Sender info and the money is in my hands, i'll confirm/post asap.

Good luck to any of you having cashout issues, stay patient and the money will come
