Lock WU Withdraw

What's up with the WU withdraw option? I don't see it listed as an option. Anybody know if it is for sure? If so what are the min/max, fee, and time frame. Thanks! I hope it wasn't just rumor

Yeah really guys? You hyped this whole "Feb 1st, drastic changes being made for w.d options!"

And the only thing you guys seemed to have changed for us regulars (meaning no elite VIP or w/e its called for bank wires) is the minimum, making it higher ($500!) instead of $100 for withdrawals for USA players.

What gives? I purposely held onto my $ until today so I could w/d in a better way. And now I can't even w/d at all because I don't have $500..

Rizen, you said WU is going to be an option. I can quote you on that. Whats going on here?!

Looks like they also changed the cash-out fee.

It's $25/cash-out now, wasn't it $15 before?

I also don't see it mentioned anywhere that the first fee will be reimbursed, like it was previously.

I'm just crossing my fingers that maybe the new cashier hasn't finished being implemented, this is really disappointing if not.

**** lock poker! you're gonna charge me 10% to with draw my money? thats a ****ing joke. and yea i said ****ing joke. it doesnt cost 10% to use WU this is so frustrating. should be a flat fee. lock will make plenty bc WU will be the most used withdrawal imo.

Re: Lock WU Withdraw

If you read it again it says the under WU that the first withdraw per month is free and 10% after that

[QUOTE=tanmn85;31282355]If you read it again it says the under WU that the first withdraw per month is free and 10% after that[/QUnd

and if you read you would see that it say 10% on a $850 max withdrawal. add that up. i hope you plan on withdrawing more than once a month. add it up 3 more times is over $2400.

not free if you have a rakeback account? strange if that's the case. Also, how long does it take to get western union once you request it.....does anyone on Lock's end know the answer or is it still too early to know....? thanks!

Re: Lock WU Withdraw

western union fees are high because western union charges a huge fee themselves. just go to www.westernunion.com and see for yourselves! they've charged 10% for ages.

I was thinking the same thing...

Funny cause he says that 1st one is free for VIP but then I asked support and Elle wrote back and told me the following: "Once you have requested a Western Union payout it will be processed within 72 hours, and will be ready to be picked up. The fee is not refunded at this time"

Jenger1989 02-02-2012 09:19 AM

Re: Lock WU Withdraw

WU is expensive, i know that.. However, the site does say

Quote:

One free per month. 10% processing fee per transaction. Maximum payout amount $850
It doesn't mention anything about being a VIP member. I have been emailing support about this as I put in a $450 WU withdrawal and got hit with $45 in fee's!!

HOWEVER, I received an email last night from support and this..

Quote:

Hi Joe,

Western Union payouts are done much faster, within 72 hours. I am confirming with our Cashier Manager if the WU fee is refundable. Once I hear back I will let you know immediately.
All my best,

Elle

CSR, Lock Support

I will let everybody know how long it takes until I receive my WU.

2/1/12 - Requested.
2/2/12 - Authorized.

I've got the same progress:

2/1/12 - Requested
2/2/12 - Authorized
2/3/12 - no status because clicking on the withrawal button to get pending status just clicks, it doesn't open a page any more....

2 days withdraw?) Did can non-us players use WU?

tippiebiz08 02-03-2012 06:51 AM

Re: Lock WU Withdraw

same, we all are in the same boat.....WU requested 2/1, authorized 2/2....i guess we will all learn together what the next step is to get the confirmation number so we can get our money at WU and if they will reimburse us .....so far I am trying to figure out this reimbursement thing...i requested $175 total on my withdrawal, the amount i was charged in a fee was $17.50 for a total amount of $157.50. Fine. However in the casino today I logged on and $1.75 was in there. I am positive I left none in there so that means they reimbursed me 1% so the fee so it is actually 9% vig? anyone else notice this?

Jetfanmack 02-03-2012 06:53 AM

Re: Lock WU Withdraw

So is this processing fee reimbursed in full or not? Trying to figure out if I want to withdraw, but I don't want a decent chunk of it taken from a processing fee when I can cut a check for a smaller fee.

I'm a rakeback player, would that make a difference?

x50Turbo 02-03-2012 07:38 AM

Re: Lock WU Withdraw

I can't figure out how to check status now. Before, I would click on the casino tab, then when the window opened, click on 'withdrawal' and it would show my pending withdrawal. Now, the casino tab shows up with just a 'cashier' option instead of deposit withdraw buttons, and it's a unified cashier option which doesn't show me the status of my pending withdrawal.

I know they're trying to make things better, but the implementations appear to have been thought out and implemented by a 12 year old.

Of course, no chat, no phone response, and no email response...but I guess that's standard.

Re: Lock WU Withdraw

Click the cashier Tab > Withdraw > 1 Pending Payouts

x50Turbo 02-03-2012 01:44 PM

Re: Lock WU Withdraw

Thanks, I guess they were changing things again while I was trying earlier this morning, as it wasn't showing up. Now status says: "In Progress"

Anyone else having better luck?

2/3/12 Processed [1:33pm]

Nice and quick on this end, x50 how long did it take for you to get that email for the MTCN # after it was Processed? I haven't heard a word it's been an hour and a half.
