Jimbo - I would check your spam box because I can almost guarantee your email with the control # is in there.

If it isn't, send them an email. And relax bud, I know waiting on money from a sketchy source can be frustrating, but you will get your money. Rest assured.

Would it kill you to take 5 minutes to read the thread? 10% fee on WU withdrawals, first of the month is free.

No it wouldnt hurt, i read it already actually, and if the first fee of 10% is free why does it need to be credited back to you.. Ive done deposits with WU never withdrawals though.. So i guess what is confusing me is Western Union (the company) charges 10% and Lock is giving away free money? returning the fee? lol

I haven't cashed out with this method yet. However, my understanding is this:

Say for example you cash out the maximum. $850. (10% would be $85)
So $850 + 85 = $935 coming out of your Lock Cashier to cashout the maximum.

You would then need to contact Lock about the reimbursement of the fee ($85) and they will manually credit it back to your account. (First withdrawal of the month only)

Ahh so I assume its 10% fee that Lock is charging not WU. Im pretty sure that them sending money WU is $10 flat rate maybe less, so they make alot on the people that cash out more then once a month.. Thats pretty sweet really if you think about it, so basically altogether the richer players kinda pay for the smaller players who withdrawal less often. For the poor'r players it will end up all being free withdr, and the more wealthy players will pay for weekly fees they prob dont care at all..

No. You request $850. Out of that $850, they will deduct $85 for processing and WU fee's. After you receive your payment, they will credit your acct back for the $85 fee.

Can you make a deposit while you have a western union withdrawal pending? Mine is actually "in progress".

So wait, it's $850 - $85 = $765 total that you receive when you pickup your WU?

So essentially its $85 to receive $765, or 11.1% ... That's ridiculous

But they are supposed to reimburse you the 10% for your first withdrawal each month. Plus, you get the cash so quickly. It's $25 a check, so doing WU the first withdrawal each month is smart, especially considering how quickly it's supposed to go.

My order has been "authorized" for 69 hours and still no word after that, starting to get a little impatient, want to roll some of my poker winnings into one of the upcoming Foxwoods tournaments.

Is it $25 each check, or is the first one of the month free?

A lot of you seem rather confused about some things, so let me try to clear a few things up:

-Yes, you get 1 free check per month. After the first one, it's $25.

-You also get one free WU withdrawal per month. After the first one, it's a 10% vig. On the first one, they still take the 10%, but they refund it back into your account. It will probably be refunded back to the poker side, though I'm not certain on this. I just had a check become processed and the $25 for that was sent to the poker side, so I'm just assuming it's the same for WU.

-Five*, you are incorrect. You can withdraw the full $850. I just shipped $1K to my casino side to check. After requesting a cashout of $850 via WU, I had $65 remaining in my account, which means I'll be receiving $850 hopefully in a couple of days, and the other $85 will be refunded after it's processed.

He should know more than I do about this. I wasn't sure about if the first check was free or not; I'm still pretty new to Lock.

Does it matter if the money is refunded to poker or casino? Personally, I'd want it in poker, so couldn't I just transfer it if they put it in the casino?

This is what I originally thought. Thanks for clearing this up zack.

Yeah, it definitely doesn't matter which side it gets refunded to, as it's a piece of cake to transfer back and forth. I was just letting people know which side it will probably be on. I actually emailed support because I thought I hadn't gotten it because it wasn't in my casino side account (thin brag about having so much money that I don't notice an extra $25 )

No problem. There are a lot of things changing on Lock for the better, so we need to all help each other out when questions arise.

+1 I am happy.

Requested: 2/3
Processed: 2/8

Just picked up my $800 from Western Union, it went great, and I just emailed support asking for my $80 back since this is my first withdrawal of the month.
02-08-2012 , 02:35 PM
requested - 2/5
received - 2/8

still waiting on fee reimbursement, but still very happy.

Good job Lock!
02-08-2012 , 03:18 PM
They just put $80 back on my account.
02-08-2012 , 03:21 PM
got my fee refund as well after I sent out an email.
02-08-2012 , 05:01 PM
Authorized for 85 hours and counting, still waiting...
02-08-2012 , 08:00 PM
Can anyone help me out here... When I click on withdraw all that pops up is a window displaying the total amount in my account and then a bar underneath to type in how much I would like to cash out. There is no withdraw options displayed (ie Check, wire, WU). I have not entered an amount and continued with the process. Is this standard for everyone? After you enter an amount to cash out are you then prompted and asked how you would like your cash out processed? Thanks
