Lock VIP Points, and Satellite Coupon Conversion

So i played on the new software for about 6 hours yesterday, and I had a couple of questions. How are we supposed to check or use our VIP points? The only place I found to check them was in the casino, and after 6 hours of play in cash games, they had not gone up by even 1 point from where they were at pre revolution. Also, I had about $135 dollars in satellite coupons, which were supposedly going to be converted into VIP points, yet I have not seen this happen either. What is the status on this?

Should be on your admin page which, via Emily at Lock Support, should be up and running shortly.

Re: Lock VIP Points, and Satellite Coupon Conversion

I finally got access to my vault and had around 15k in FPPs with rakeback from the day before. I'm missing several thousand FPPs and the rakeback from the 31st...hopefully its still a work in progress.

I also do not have my full amount of point. It is a couple of thousand less then before the switch.

Shane, can you confirm if they are still updating the VIP points?

Re: Lock VIP Points, and Satellite Coupon Conversion

Here is the reply from lock ab the points, they convert at 14% even though it still says 0.01 per point in the vault, I converted mine and its correct.

"Hi there,

The conversion on the new network is higher. Which means you get 14% points conversion instead of 10% therefore ysour points were reduced.

You get exactly what you had when we left Merge.

Thanks

Best,

Emily

Does anyone know what the status is on converting our satellite coupons to points? i know this was promised before the switch..but it seems like one of those things they could easily "forget" about

Still cant access admin page, the only way I can see my VIP point is at the cashier in the casino side. Which on a side note, could only be logged into with my old Merge Screenname, and not my revolution screenname.

Re: Lock VIP Points, and Satellite Coupon Conversion

Many people probably feel they are missing points because the VIP point award method has changed. I checked my point balance today before I started playing. I play heads up cash games and so far today I have raked a total of $46.10 (me and other players combined) and my point balance has gone up 46 points. I am registered as a VIP player so points are suppose to be worth more than rakeback...but if I'm paying $46 in rake and only getting 46 points, I'm only getting $0.64 in point value for that $46 in rake. WTTTTTTTTTTFFFFFFFFFFFFFF? Just letting everyone else under the VIP system that you might be getting screwed if you play short handed or heads up cash games. I plan on switching to pure rakeback.

Whoever designed the cash vip rewards should be fired.

+1. I dont get it. On Merge, 10 VIP points were awarded for every $1 of rake. Now, Lock is only giving 1 VIP points per $1 of rake contributed to the pot. An explanation from Shane or Rizen concerning how the new VIP system is going to work is needed.

Re: Lock VIP Points, and Satellite Coupon Conversion

Im also a little concerned about the satellite coupons, because before the switch they said the coupons would be converted dollar value to points. So, with the $135 in satellite coupons, I figured I would be getting 13,500 vip points. Which was the basic equivalent. Now, I don't see my satellite coupons, and I don't see any increase to my vip points. Had I known, I would have played the coupons in tournaments...

Re: Lock VIP Points, and Satellite Coupon Conversion

I won a WSOP Steps satellite last night on the new Lock and do not have access to the coupon. Has anyone else run into this?

On Merge you got 10 Vip points per $1 YOU paid in rake since it was contributed method. Now you are getting $1 vip point per $1 paid in table rake. So if you go 10 hands without putting anything but blinds in, and the table happens to rake $3 each pot, you just got 30 Vip points without paying any rake.

thats so wrong. first off 1 point per $1 would mean 3 points for $3. and on top of it you dont get the full 3 points, its divided per players at the table. now on the other hand, im unaware of a lock rep verifying how the points are actually sistributed. so people should stop spreading false info imo

That was the impression I got from reading the posts Shane said about the points. If it is divided among the table for say full ring, and its a $1 rake, that means each person is getting 0.11 points? Meaning they would have to play 4.6million hands in the month at that rake to get the top Ronin prize? I don't see how that could be right either.

Also: it was said many times by Shane and others that its 1 point per $1 in rake for cash, and 7 points per $1 rake for tourneys.
