Lock Using House Players? Lock Using House Players?

05-27-2013 , 05:17 PM
Today I played a 60k GTD Step 1 on lock poker, to find a peculiar player. He was very loose and often shoved pre-flop. I tried looking him up on sharkscope, but it said the player didn't exist. Check out the hand below.

Edit: The player was doville23

I continued to watch the game after I busted out, and he crushed a different opponent KK vs their AA. This is pretty crazy. You can tell me this is variance, but I witness this over and over on lock poker.

Do you think they are using house players?

There are several things wrong with this:

    1) So many people don't take $1.73 buy-ins seriously

    2) You're talking about someone playing 77 or KK preflop all-in in a $1.73 buy-in (as legit as I'll ever consider something). There are plenty of idiots out there who will CALL 3 or 4-way all-ins with 5s. Hardly evidence of anything but stupidity.

    3) I'm sure plenty of people can show you instances of WAY, and I mean WAY crazier stuff happening, with/against even legit players.

    4) I doubt that even if Lock was using "House" players, they'd ever give a crap about the $1.73 satellite buy-ins. That would be the biggest waste of time ever.

    5) You can block your stats from appearing on sharkscope...

    6) This is a thread? This is serious? People play rags all-in preflop for higher stakes too. Even at casinos.. people are awful and always have the excuse of "I was just trying to leave, blah blah blah". For every tight player out there who only plays premieres preflop, there are equally as many fish who play whatever their "gut" tells them to.

I was expecting to read som HH of an 8 high river call for 3x the pot..

Not some hand where some $1.75 player stuck it in with wired sevens

Witch hunt commencing again next week same time.

Every time I lose an all in I am going to start blaming house players. If I win, well I guess they weren't house players. lol!
