Lock says I expressed "GAMBLING PROBLEMS" Lock says I expressed "GAMBLING PROBLEMS"

Okay, wow, is this seriously happening? I got screwed around for 6 weeks waiting for a check about a year ago, the check ended up being BAD, I leave Lock, and now I come back and put my faith back in them. The result? They allow me to make a deposit on a new account, and then say "There are too many accounts on this address" AFTER I login and choose my avatar and nickname. The issues were apparently getting worked on and now "Chloe" from live chat support says that I can "never play on Lock because I expressed gambling problems". So, effectively, Lock stole my money and will now take weeks before someone from the security team MAY contact me? I could use some huge help here, Shane. My account kwill0601@yahoo.com has the "615 error code" stuck on it and I thought it was an error but apparently Lock is trying to stop me from ever playing poker? I have a measly $35 on my new account and I just want to play with it or I want it back immediately. Nobody is contacting or helping me and live chat has told me there is NOTHING wrong and has now told me, basically, everything is wrong. Anyone else having just complete and utterly ridiculous problems with these guys? Sorry to flame but, I mean, good Lord. This is just sad.

All I can say, is lucky for you that you only have $35 on there.

If you've read many of the posts here, you'll see that even regular players with thousands of dollars in their accounts are told to hurry up and wait.

I can only imagine how low on their priority list you're issue will be to them.

I would recommend that you kiss your $35 goodbye.
To do otherwise would be like chasing your own tail. You can work yourself into a frenzy and get no where.

I think he will get his money in some form a fashion but it will take a long time and with his attitude I image it would be a long painful wait.

Well, I will just accept that it is gone, I guess. It is only $35, but it is the principle of things. I mean how poor can customer support be? It is, after all, the backbone of any company and I would expect Lock to be no different and, if anything, try to be as high as possible on the ratings list for these poker sites. I might not have the best attitude about it, but I absolutely did at the beginning of this process. I got a $600 bad check from them a year ago that took 6 weeks to arrive. Thanks for the responses anyway. Good luck to everyone who is having the same problems but with much larger amounts of money.

I can see that this has already been escalated to the security team for you earlier today as per the support emails back to you, so will leave it in their safe hands since they actually make the decisions on these situations and have access to more information than me.

Why do all the people that start these threads end up having multiple accounts?
01-31-2013 , 09:36 PM
I had only one verified account and it hasn't been used for over a year. i happened to remember my password so i downloaded the software, tried to get on, and got the 615 error. they hit me with some fake bull**** code.

therefore, i made a new account, which was allowed. they let me make a deposit. i downloaded the client, logged in, chose my nick/avatar, and get another error message. one person says everything is okay and doesn't understand what the problem is, and now someone says I have gambling issues. it is sad and i should have looked at these forums and the multitude of problems therein before considering making a deposit on an account.

oh well...$35 is gone and lock is sad. security team will never respond and the support team gives you the same copy/paste e-mail.

good luck to all of you dealing with issues'

You are only allowed 1 account per skin, but this you have 3.

Security will respond once they have reviewed this for you.

Good observation but I assume collusion in general probably happens quite a bit more often on a site like this but thankfully those people are probably terrible at cheating as well.

This, you really should've done a lot more effort to retrieve your old account, it would've saved you a lot of problems. Also unsure why support told you it was OK to make a new one, or why they made an exception without more time trying to retrieve the old one first.

Multiple accounts are NOT allowed on ANY site, including Lock.

I should have tried to retrieve my new account, I guess. I just imagined how long it would take to get the '615' error code taken off my account, so I made a new one. I did ask live chat rep to delete my new account and just transfer the funds to my old account and then I would work to resolve THAT issue after. But I was hit with this gambling problems crap and realized I was just screwed. Maybe in 6 months I will have received and e-mail and/or my account will be open. I wish I could just do a $35 cash-out and I would probably receive that $35 in a check before the security team actually e-mailed me. I must be at the very bottom of the priority list, considering there are people with $5k frozen.
02-01-2013 , 02:22 PM
Shane, I only have 2 accounts. I am more than willing to have one deleted and I just want my $35 to be available to me. I haven't even played on Lock in over a year, so I cannot imagine how you guys would think I expressed a 'gambling problem'. I expressed my dissatisfaction with receiving a bad check after waiting 6 weeks for it.

Is there ANYTHING you can do to expedite this? Is it true that I can never play on Lock? My account kwill0601@yahoo.com is probably what "Chloe" was referring to (gambling problems thing). Is this an error? Was I screwed? I just at least want an answer if I have to give up on this or expect to wait weeks/months. I do appreciate your responses, Shane. Just looking for some help..anything. Nobody is contacting me or explaining to me what is going on. I just know my deposit was taken and I got screwed. I wasn't trying to make things difficult (though I did make it so).

Go play on merge or winning poker network if you really need to satisfy your gambling urges. Because it seems like you REALLY want to hit the tables.

Winning poker networks cashouts only take about a week, 2 max. sometimes 3-4 days if you get it to the debit card they issue. Why would you want to play on a site that takes 12 weeks and has a high probability of sending you a bad check?
02-01-2013 , 06:53 PM
It's not that I want to play THAT bad - there is a live 1/3 25 mins from me - but it is just the principle of the matter and the ridiculous amount of frustration associated with these people. It had been a year...I gave it another shot because I love the interface and feel it is legit poker. I didn't invest too much into it for fear of this. It's just $35; yes I might try that out. Winning Poker is the name of the network? I am a U.S. player..
