are they slowly by slowly selling their servers for money?
06-18-2013 , 09:28 AM
having the same issue. I just sat down to start my NL50 session and table lag is so bad that everybody is sitting out now. I watch the SB raising the BB who folds and it takes a minute to move the pot to the SB.

Edit:
Looking at the wifes screen her MTT plays fine. What's wrong with the cash tables?

Edit 2:
Hand on the top right hasn't played in over 3 minutes and pot on the right has been there for almost 5minutes.

Hey guys,

I just spoke to the network devs and they dont have a general answer for this, they asked if I could send over hand IDs and system specs of any players affected.

So if anyone wants this looked into for them just send those details over to me in an email.

The server Crashed three times For me ysterday, the third time I noticed when I got dc'd I didn't lose and fold out on the pot but it just checked down.

So not as bad as you losing all the money in the middleof the pot into thin air, but obv losing a lot of value by missing multiple streets of bets.

Shane, NL50 full ring plays fine. It appears like only the 6-max tables are lagging real bad. Maybe a script kid working ala DOS?

Edit:
All the NL50 6-max playing fine now apart from Pebble Beach 19839.

System specs? Wat

This is clearly on your end, EVERYONE was experiencing on my mtt tables last night at least 3-4x. We all got booted for ~3-4min and there were numerous hard lags after that as well for everyone

horrible lag at 20NL 6 max. I mean crashing every 5 minutes. This is ridiculous. If I had any chance of actually getting my money, I'd have been gone a long time ago. As is I'm just gonna grind up to $100k and take screen shots for bragging rights.

I can attest with Spike, the 20NL tables were bad yesterday. I tried playing two sessions, one in the afternoon and one in the evening and both were cut short because of the lag/players forced to sit out.

Anyone else having really bad lag atm?

Playing 50 & 100PLO & I've timed out in 3 outta the last 5 hands. WIll hit a button "Call" Next thing I know, Im looking at a river (my hand folded) and 2 other people still in the hand....

And as I'm typing this, looks like maybe LOCK crashed? Internet is working fine but it tells me "Reconnecting" to LOCK

I made this exact point to the network guys, I was on skype with a 2+2'er who was reporting what he was seeing across the network at the time and it was clear it wasn't just a localised issue.

They came back and said it looked like the problem had gone away and repeated that for future cases I need to send hand ID's and system specs.

Shane, glad to hear that you stepped on their toes. However if a scenario like this pops up the network team should fire up the tables to invetigate right there and then what's going on and not rely on hand history files that may or may not be send.

The issue went on for about one hour and I don't see why they would need the hand history files to investigate the server load or a possible DOS attack on the server.

It's obviously not your fault or department but their statement is a little hilarious, sorry.

1. The hh desn't shows how long every players turn was or if the hand was stuck for 5 minutes.
2. The system specs are not relevant in this matter either.

It honestly feels like they are trying to keep myself and the player reporting the issue busy getting these details while they fix the problem.

don't you guys work for the same company? WTF? What the hell goes on at that place? Are the different departments trying to sabotage each other?

No the network who runs the software is owned and managed separately to us.

WHY CANT U JUST REVERT TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION UNTIL YOU FIGURE OUT WTF IS WRONG

SERIOUSLY

IN WHAT WORLD IS THIS A DIFFICULT TASK BESIDES LOCK FANTASY LAND?

I'd offer my services to setup their code repository and manage the issue tracker to ensure the developers in Bangladesh fix important issues as fast as possible. Not sure if they can pay my hourly rate for project management though (Revolution that is).

Anyone having issues opening their software? Just tried to open Intertops and get the little gray box, which disappears and then nothing happens. Figured I'd try Lock - same thing. Network issues? Other poker software seems to be opening fine for me...

FYI,

Shane is creating a "list" for anyone who is having software problems. They will get a "batch" together and then re test the "pipes" shortly...............

there crap makesy ou miss poker stars and full tilt. THey still owe me over 300 dollars for not putting money back in my account after i left some cash tables. I tried to avoid money by not playing sngs cause those sometimes crash and now at the cash tables soon as you leave they just take the money it vanishes. i am on intertops but its all the same its revolution software. I was done with merge im already back on it.
