I have played on Cake the past 3 years and the software has always been poor and unreliable. I am hoping that the new software coming out is a complete revamp. Suggestions:

Need to be able to see which tourneys you are registered for in the lobby. Registering for 10+ tourneys is very difficult if you have to scroll through each one to see if you are registered yet or not

1-click SNG registration would be a nice option

1-click All In button as on Merge very helpful

Shouldn't have to click "take seat" for each tourney

Option to sit in/sit out all table would be good

Rematch feature for hu is a must


That's all I can think of for now. Hope the traffic picks up and software is revamped ASAP else I'm back to Merge in an instant

I was disappointed to see that even though Shane said mgmt was listening, concerning the plo8mtt, the guarantees were lowered. The 10AM plo8b yesterday was over 1K. Pretty lame to lower gtd mtt's when they were already making them. I play Cake everyday and I do not see why you removed bigger gtds for lower when they meet them anyways

I am not able to scroll down in the ring games. For example, my games are sorted by stakes, and the top game is $500/$1k. I click the down arrow key and it scrolls down. After about 2-10 scrolls it jumps back up to the top. This gets really annoying as I play $2/$4 HU and I like to scroll down to see who is sitting at the tables then next thing I know I'm checking out empty $500/$1k tables.

It used to be that if you were logged into the software, when you hit admin you were taken straight to your admin page. Now you are are taken to a blank admin page and have to log in. Please change this back.

Why so few tournaments in the AM? Wait till 11am est to play only to get knocked out early then have to wait 45 minutes for another to start. Please consider adding back the AM 1k guarantees on the half hour. Maybe trow in another turbo.

Can we get some way of searching for players, or tracking them other than basic notes. I like to customize my notes. Currently the software notes only allows markings for "fair, good, very good, etc." This is horrible. I want to label players such as: "Calling Station, Bluffer, Mouse, Shark, etc."

Other suggestions

1. Fix the way breaks work. Some of them are very silly. Entered a rebuy tournament. After an hour went on 5 min break, came back from break for about 2 hands, then went back on ~3min break for the add on. Waste of time and irritating.

2. Update graphics and allow custom icons.

3. On rebuy tournaments have buttons for auto rebuy and auto add on.

4. Revamp betting options, better yet make them customizable based on how someone bets pre and post flop. Also when I click on the window to manually enter a bet amount it should highlight or clear the amount so I dont have to double click again.

5. Have updates when you log in on Lock's progress on known major issues / bugs along with estimated timetables for resolution. hint - Better to under promise and over deliver here.

6. On 10 man tables spread out the players a little more on the bottom so those using HUD's have room to display their information. Right now it is awfully crowded jamming 40% of the table together on one rail. There is plenty of room to spread us out just a little bit.

Here are a few things that need to be fixed imo:

1. You have to pull up the cashier just to see what your balance is. This is just too much considering that some people's browsers are slower than others. Every other poker client in the world, that i've been on, allows for you to see your balance in the lobby. Please add this feature. Shouldn't be hard.

2. I have a laptop extended to a 27" monitor in which i use to tile all of my tables. However, every time i pull up a table it comes up in my laptop window real small. And any time i try to tile my tables it tiles on the laptop screen, not my extended monitor. Please fix this! Dragging and resizing each individual table that i open from my laptop to my extended monitor is tilting the hell out of me.

3. In the player list on the right side of the client it says that there are 19 players sitting at a 6-max game. Obviously this needs to be fixed.

I'm sure i will chime in on some more things in future posts as almost everything about this software needs to be changed, but these are the things that are bothering me the most as of right now. Please fix!

Please upgrade your tournament and SNG filters. Specifically allow us to filter between turbos and hyperturbos individually. Also, allow us to filter out Double or Nothing tournaments.

Obviously allow us to save our filters so we don't have to reenter our parameters every time we log on.

Some of the 2k starting stack tournaments do have quite a brutal structure.

I would REALLY like it if I could cash in tournament tickets won through satellites. Some deeper satellites offer a lot of value to lower stakes players. If I spend $20 to get into a satellite awarding a $500+50 ticket...I might be more interested in keeping the $550 and parlaying it into more opportunities.

100% agree. I like playing sat and do pretty well in them, but I am outclassed in the actual trnys. Would rather play (50) $10 SNG than a 500+50 trny. I am understanding that when they eventually transfer over the trny tickets that you had on Merge that they are going to credit those as VPP, so you can chash them in if you want.
