The Lock site should be updated. Rally for Riches still says: "running for the entire month of February." Is this still a valid chase or has Merge got rid of it?

I suggest you guys change your tournament payouts. Currently, this is how a sample tournament looks (this is the $22 freeze, $2500 Guaranteed).

1st: $750
2nd: $500
3rd: $250
4th: $200
5th: $150

The issue I have is that this pay scale is clearly heavily weighted towards the top two spots. Going from 4th to 3rd increases the payout by 25%...going from 3rd to 2nd increases the payout by 100%...going from 2nd to 1st increases by 50%.

As I type this I realize that Merge will undoubtedly have to be the one that changes this and not Lock. If this is beyond your control, Rizen, I totally understand. I just wanted to point out that the structure is currently set up more like a multi table sit and go rather than a multi table tournament.

Uhhm I don't think Lock has control over the tournament structures?

Set the record straight asap regarding the structure of the VIP system. like what y'all will be able to allow, i.e. casino bonuses? etc.

I think a balance in the promotions would be nice. The MTT promo (Tourney King) is worth $20k and the SNG promo (Leaderboard) is worth $12k so there is about a $8k difference.

Also, considering that SNG's are something that Merge would like to strengthen (SNG's haven't increased even remotely as much as the cash games have since BF) it could be a good marketing promo to add some more players to the SNG base.

Merge is the one that changes it and no I'm not directly in control but I talk with the people in charge of such changes every day and have a lot of influence over what goes in. There are definitely some quirky payout things that need to be fixed, aside from this last I knew 6 max payout structures and 9 max were the same, which is clearly flawed.

The biggest thing for me is I need to provide data as to why things should be changed. I'll do some research on what the standard payout %s are across other sites. FWIW I believe the top two-three spots SHOULD pay significantly higher in a MTT than the rest, but it does look really weird to me that the payout jump from 3rd-2nd is the same as 2nd-1st.

The casino bonuses issue is still being worked out between us and Merge. I feel at this point that everything else is pretty well defined, are there any other outstanding questions?? I'm being quite serious here, if things are unclear now that i'm allowed to have sticky threads and things like that here I can put together an FAQ on everything else if it's still unclear.

1. One free check per month for EVERY player, regardless of everything else.

2. You should have a 30 second timebank available at the beginning of every turn.

3. RB players need non-tourney options to spend their points on.

4. "Join Waitlist" should change to "Leave Waitlist" when clicked, and vice versa.

5. Reload bonuses.

6. Update the website more often. It's over a month later, and Ronin is STILL on there, and I still don't see a link for the VIP page either. Kind of sad, really. =/

7. Elites should get, like, 4 or more free cashouts per month, and perhaps 2 for Black members also.

8. Bring Ronin back or something similar.

9. VIP store (This might be coming out already tomorrow?).

10. More cool promos in general, like RPM has.

11. Give me my $500 Ipad money... Lol! Sorry, had to do it. =P

1. Create some way to tell if a player is sitting out

2. Create more 4-man shootouts at higher stakes

3. Add a "make a deal" option at final tables

4. Allow notes on a player to be read from a lobby of a game

I said it before amidst another complaint in the old Lock Poker thread re: check fees, but I'd really like to see some deep ante games added. Anytime there is a table at the micros in NL with a plyrs to flop % greater than 18% there will be five people waiting in line. These seems to have only gotten worse and its making the games a lot less fun, which seems like the primary concern for micro games. This seemed to help a lot on Stars when I was there. It got to be that I hardly ever liked to play the regular games. This was something that wasn't done for a long time at Stars, so I don't know if this kind of thing is feasible right now for Merge, but I think it would definitely be a great idea in the future.

Despite a complaint of mine, (for which I was roundly heckled, though not by Lock or Rizen) I really like Lock's software and graphics combined with what I've found to be a very responsive customer service team with the added bonus of Rizen keeping such a high profile on the forum here. Just would like to get to a point where it seems like things are static and not in a constant state of flux.

Is this still somewhere on the site? If it is can you send me a link? I had all of the ronin etc stuff removed in the last few weeks. I felt it was 'cruel and unusual' punishment to keep splashing Ronin in people's faces while they were logging in.

I have not been able to find information on the VIP structure and would definitely like a Sticky that includes all the current Promo's. I also think this would make it much easier for newer players to make a decision. In fact, this is one thing that kept me from playing on Lock Recently because the website didn't show the VIP Program.

Until a sticky or FAQ is up, if someone could link me to where the VIP Program info is, I would appreciate it.

I would like to see deep stacked ante games too. I think it will happen at some point in the future. Just so you know why it's probably not happening now is basically segregating your NLHE games requires some level of critical mass or you end up cannibalizing the existing games.

I personaly think we're almost there, but when I brought up segregating the games by stack depth (much like stars did) before there was an issue with not wanting to break the games up into multiple tiers per buy in level because if you only have 6 games at a level running trying to divide them up by stack depth just kills the games, if that makes sense?

We're reaching a more critical mass now, and I can definitely say that I see this happening at some point once the player base is big enough around the clock to support it. It would also be another way for those of you that don't like dealing with short stackers to avoid them.

Yeah I don't think this is a problem anymore. When I click on the promo page from the home page there is no link or mention of Ronin.

As far as game play the only recommendations I have are for SNG's and I know some of it is being addressed already but this will make for a good checklist:

1) More advanced filters (Rizen, I can come up with these filters if you would like me to)
2) Structure/level changes (Already talked about and being proposed)
3) Last month the SNG Leaderboard was never working on Lock, that should be looked into.

Max cashout on Casino side should be more

I will bring this up for sure but I'm pretty sure this is dictated by the processors and not us. I'm not 100% sure though so I will make sure to ask.
