Re: Lock Poker - Revolution Network full tournament schedule

agreed, there needs to be deeper starting stacks. not just talking about tourneys $50+ either, don't forget about us micro donks. even on the old network there were plenty of tourneys with 3k and even 4k starting stacks.

and why the hell do rebuy tourneys start at level 25/50? this doesn't make any sense to me, i've never played on a site where the blinds started higher in a rebuy than they did a freezeout.

i've been on the site for literally 20 minutes and i don't even want to keep playing anymore. i'd rather have you switch it back to the old schedule. it's like whoever made the schedule had these guidelines. "get them to register, let there be a ton of action, and we want the tourney over in 2 hours." if i wanted to play charity tourneys that's what i'd do.

I feel like Lock should hire me so someone helps explain to them what those things are and how to have them not happen.

Re: Lock Poker - Revolution Network full tournament schedule

You guys killed the omaha hi/lo schedule, thanks for that. Planned on playing poker all weekend! It'll be pretty hard considering you removed half the o8 tourneys! Seriously the traffic doubled for them o8 tourneys yesterday since the switch over. And then you decide to remove them? What sense does that make?!?!?!?! Ugh, this blows.

Seriously, why couldn't they just chill for a min and just see how things would go with the old schedule? Then add on to them tourneys, maybe remove a couple? Not only that but the cheapest o8 tourney they have is at 1:30 am and it cost $3, but it's a damn rebuy/add-on. Can't believe I was actually excited about the changes! Screw you Revolution! The old Cake offered plenty of o8 tourneys that were semi successful. Man, this is stupid.

Re: Lock Poker - Revolution Network full tournament schedule

I seriously feel like i am being punked! Whoever created this schedule is out of their minds! A $5 and $6 o8 tourney both starting at the same time? At 2:30 pm?!?! The 24 player limit o8 tourneys that the old cake network ran were golden imo!!!!! Please bring em back. With the new player traffic, all of them are almost guaranteed to fill up!

There's a daily $33 at 9PM EST and there was also a $10 today at 6:30 EST (which I hope becomes a daily).

I could not agree more, and have been trying to draw attention to this issue as soon as the schedule was made public. But unfortunately, so far the O8 community has been completely ignored by Lock/Revolution. I bet whoever designed the schedule probably doesn't even know what PLO8 is... I did take one of the main guarantees down today (thinly disguised brag, ldo )but I am still sad that the demand is there but the plo8 mtt schedule at this point is complete s***. Thank god we still have Merge who are willing to actually listen to and take care of their plo8 community. Lock/Revolution could learn a thing or two from them...

edit: fwiw, all of the plo8 mtt guaranteed amounts have been getting smashed. If nothing else Lock/Revolution needs bumb dat **** up, yo!

Look at the o8 schedule for the rest of the night. What a mess.

ur not dumb

look at top middle of table under the chip rack(or dealer) forget what's there..

if ur even or under original chip stack you'll see in tiny print word rebuy..click it..end of rebuy period will give u the rebuy and addon in small white print also

as far as the site goes..i'm going to stick around on it..figure day 2 and i expect they will overhaul the software and lobby design..need to give em some time imo..they did announce they were leaving merge not very long ago

just my 2 cents

Re: Lock Poker - Revolution Network full tournament schedule

Tournament structures are the nut low I've ever played. It's really embarrassing. Going into push/fold mode by level 3 or 4 in a regular FO is a joke, especially given that these are 100/215 FOs.

And 60 mins of late reg for a suber turbo is also not a good idea. let me know if you need to know why

Re: Lock Poker - Revolution Network full tournament schedule

Agreed with what some posters have pointed out.

There are effectively tournaments where you can late reg into a guaranteed prize because of the structure, as long as you realise that late reg will close not only when time elapses but when the remaining players are all 'in the money'. The Turbo non-deepstack tournaments with 1 hour late-reg all have this issue (I'm sure the Super-T's do too but I didn't play one).

Even apart from that every tournament is effectively a turbo because the stacks are shallow and the clock is fast.

Yep, sats are all being abused in this way. Tbh I actually feel dirty doing it. People who reged and busted just basically gave me free money. Retarded. Lock also ran one of their Sunday tourneys this afternoon as I'm sure some of you noticed. Not that anyone is complaining, but it's a bad thing for the site when they are running tourneys and not even hitting half the gtd.

There's a huge host of issues on a number of levels and in different areas that I can hardly be bothered to go into in one post. Seems like a waste of time anyway.

Re: Lock Poker - Revolution Network full tournament schedule

I used to play 3 tournaments daily on Lock, all starting between 4:00 and 5:15 AM server time. (33$ 2R1A, 22$ rebuys and 11$ 1R1A)

Now i can't even load a single tournament over 11$ !!

Please tell me that this scheduled will change in a bit, otherwise, ciaooo and gl!
