Thank you Shane, you are probably the sole reason I received this. Depositing the check today.
So glad to hear this finally came through for you.

I'm glad to hear you got your cashout bro.. But Shane being the sole reason you received it? C'mon man.. You got your cashout after having to wait 6 months, there are others who are still waiting ridiculous lengths of time as well.

Don't put Shane on a pedestal. I hope he creates more than 2 posts today other than the "no problems, glad to hear you got your cashout" posts, when there are gfg promo winners waiting for a response if they will be reimbursed for their wsop packages (before the series is over mind you)

All of the GFG winners have been contacted directly regarding their prizes.

True, but the hidden implication of this (that the cashouts either got/are being expedited or if they confirmed it'll be expedited) isn't true for me at least. More communication and clear answers regarding this is always welcome.

To sum up, what people got is: -their prize in their account
-congratulations for receiving this prize

no word at all on when they'd actually receive the $, not like you can blame people to assume it won't be expedited if you don't specifically tell them right.

I didnt mean to imply anything like that, the statement I was responding to was saying that the GFG winners still hadnt been contacted at all, I was directly addressing that matter.

If some of those winners are actually trying to get to WSOP 2013 then they will have had the opportunity to address that directly with the marketing team and work out what can be done in that regard.

How long are WU withdraws taking to get verified these days? I've been waiting right at 5 weeks now and it's still not even verified. Why is there such a delay in verifying these? They used to take less than a day to reach that point and now the same work is taking over a month...

The real reason we're all being paid now is because Lock has finally gotten legitimate processors (for checks, WU, etc.), however, I truly believe that if Shane wasn't aware of my situation and my status, that I could easily have been continually lost in the shuffle.

Shane is asked to address EVERYTHING on here, and that's just unreasonable for 1 person. Especially when the true people in control at Lock don't have reasonable answers to provide Shane. If he is able to keep a list of players who are waiting the longest, then at least that's SOMETHING to ensure that our old requests start getting paid along with these newer ones. That's a positive in my book, and while everyone is quick to point out the things he hasn't done, few will ever give credit to things he has.

If my only outlet was to continue e-mailing Lock Support, I very well may not have received my check by today. So for actually being acknowledged - I credit Shane, that's all I'm saying. Lock Support treats you like a number. At least here, it's a community with the power of communication/opinions/voices, etc.

I don't think it's right for people to get preferential treatment, and resorting to forums to receive priority isn't the notion I approve of either. But Shane beats Quinn and Michelle and their repetitive (and sometimes proven WRONG) replies any day of the week.

I can attest to this too... about 4 months ago (approx 1 month before all the skrill w/d were cancelled) I emailed shane about a skrill w/d that had been pending at the at least 2 month mark... I didn't actively post in any of these threads, but lurked, and I found his email address... I contacted him asking him about my w/d and if he could do any digging on it... he responded he'd look into it.. I would say no more than a week or so after these correspondences I got an email saying I had a skrill w/d processed... Shane gets a bad rap on these boards and although every single matter might not be handled perfectly, i will say that I think his work does often go unnoticed as well.. that's all... glad to see alot of ppls checks and wu's coming through!

Sounds like a whole lot of self bias.

If a thief breaks into every apartment in a complex except yours, you don't turn around and call him a hero.. Not quite the same, but you know what I mean.

Yes I am a disgruntled customer at lock

Your analogy is completely off-base. All I said was that I got paid and that I credited Shane for making sure it happened. I spent months trying to make it happen on my own with Lock Support and to no avail.

I'm sure as hell not going to credit the multiple Lock Support team members who (as of a week ago) told me I was waiting on my MTCN. Lol @ that. Waiting on the MTCN and then receiving a check? That convinced me right there that they weren't even reading my e-mails before choosing which copy-pasted response to give me.

And of course everyone is going to have a different opinion when their personal situation is resolved. But I'm not happy solely because of that, I'm happy with other people seeming to get paid as well.

How is this analogy real lol... Shane is not the reason that people aren't getting paid.. its lock, or its processors, or a combination of both, who knows.. Shane is the voice between management and us, the customers... I'm sure if Shane had it his way, all the checks, wu's, and skrill would all go out the day they are requested.. That would make his job a lot easier.. Reality is, in any business, customer service is a tricky job to handle as when things go well, little credit is given, when things go poorly, customers place the blame on the rep. I think all Vindictive is saying is that although shane may not be the sole reason he got paid, its likely that he helped play a hand in it getting handled.

Sorry I meant Shane is the one telling all the apartments that they are delusional and everything is okay...

You don't know Shane anymore than I do (i assume), who are you to say that if Shane had his way he'd pay us all out?? For all we know he could be an alias of Jennifer Larson, he could even be Quinn or Rick.... I understand why people would support Shane, as to others who don't - and this is SOLELY based as a customer service rep alone. No customer service rep is perfect, however there are many legitimate questions being asked, and he has only responded a handful of times (2 were accepting praise for successful cashouts).

I'm sorry.. If the job is too tough for Shane to handle, then yeah.... Unless he's sending a whole lot of PMs on 2+2 or other forums and emails. Then I retract what I said about Shane.

I am more than happy vindictive got his cashout, it was a joke it hit 6 months, if Shane did play a role in this then good work to him (and send some magic this way)

Congrats bacon although I do not see how someone from April is receiving a check with all the December and January outstanding cashouts. Do they just randomly draw names out lol.

Shanes job is to try to put a positive spin on a bad situation. Sometimes by telling blatant lies. If people were paid on time he might not have a job.

Neteller requested May 14th, received today.

I´m a GFG April and May winner.

i've cashed out several times from lock via check, wu, and skrill. it's taken everywhere between 1 and 7 months to actually get my money. but i did eventually get my money, except one time their check was no good. they did send me another check though.

HI! I am here trying to locate all the post confirmations where Shane & Jennifer Larson's assurances of fullfilling thier promises of paying backlog players requests (June) as well as the new LOCK quicker payout system which was implemented with new processors. I am excited to see these reports.

Thanks inadvance
