Which Lock Poker Pro to go with Which Lock Poker Pro to go with

I won 2 hours of coaching, so what coach should I go to for the two hours from lock. I would like to avoid unnecessary flames, that seem to be rampant in this forum.

well very open ended question, cash, sngs mtts? What stakes? Hu, 6 max or FR?

Cash game, your right, my bad. 6 max primarily.

Which pros are available to you?

Just looked at the list and dunno which of them play cash at all. I'd say go w/ jhub because even though he doesn't play cash much (if at all) you'll still definitely learn something from the session because he's really smart/good at coaching which I'd take over someone who beats cash and is dumb in general and probably not a good coach.

I'd have to agree, you want to extract as much raw poker knowledge as you can in this small window so this may be your best bet even though jhub isn't the most experienced cash game player

I guess that just depends on what your current knowledge is already.

Anyway, though, I already won hours of coaching back from February when i first won that and still didn't get any coaching whatsoever.. I wouldn't count on it happening at all all that much.

Go with Jared Hubbard, and then ask him why he is selling $25,000 at .33

Wow, Lock can't even pay out coaching.

Don't worry, shane will chase up the coaching for you.

The first part of the coaching session is on table selection...
07-05-2013 , 11:11 PM
The 2 hours of Lock Pro coaching is worth about 30-36 minutes of actual coaching in the marketplace, and they do count posting threads like this as counting toward that time.

Better luck with the next 2 hours you win.

Website selection might be more worthwhile

Well, then probably almost none of the names people have heard of. Prob. EVConsultant honestly, other than that I think most of them are only tourney guys

I don't quite understand why you would want a non cash game player teaching you cash games. Most, NOT ALL, tourney pros are pretty bad at cash. Same can be said about cash game players teaching tourney strat, but probably to a lesser degree.

JHub plays mainly HU Hyper SnG's. So if you want to get coached by him that's what you should go for. TheGrinder plays PLO cash but seriously... I'd go for a MTT session with Francisco / JuranPT.

Can you exchange your 'coaching' hours for that?
07-07-2013 , 12:43 AM
