Re: Lock Poker / LockPoker

Any word on the upcoming VIP program? Kind of important for a lot of our plans considering you guys are axing a 30-35% effective RB rake race(Ronin).

Safe to Deposit on Lock Poker?

I am a Canadian player who is thinking about making a first deposit with Lock Poker, where I just got a rakeback + 200% FDB offer. Is this a good idea or a -ev risky venture? What are the sites chances of experiencing some of the legal/cashout problems FTP is having?

Thanks.

you are more likely to have your funds seized at lockpoker than you are to die in a plane crash.

Re: Lock Poker / LockPoker

Konar, they won't be releasing the info ahead of time. I will be f5'ing a lot on June 1 to see if it gets announced. Hope it doesn't completely suck. Not really sure what they mean exactly by "no rake races." I mean, sne on stars or ironman on ft could be viewed as rake races in their own way too....but hopefully merge doesn't get too literal about it and gives a program somewhat similar to other VIP programs on others sites. That plus keeping the 35% there could still end up rocking. Fingers crossed. Because if merge screws this up I'm kind of running out of alternatives.

Because they were smart enough to change to .eu? Wow. Lots of people sure don't get it. Can't believe so many people are reading that as negative. It is a positive that they had the foresight to do that now...although not by much. It is generally pretty neutral since they could do it whenever they wanted. They just did it now to avoid potential hassle and interruption if they might be forced to change it in the future. So no big deal and mostly neutral....except for all the weirdos who are freaked out by it I guess or think it is a bad thing.

Re: Safe to Deposit on Lock Poker?

I might get flamed for this, but my general feeling is that many of the Merge skins are getting ready to flip the bird at the DOJ if they try to seize the websites. It's just my opinion, but I think they are going to try and stay in the US market like Bodog. They already know they are potentially doing something wrong and they are still serving.

Re: Safe to Deposit on Lock Poker?

Wonder if they should consider putting a stop to new US accounts in the near future for possibly taking some heat off the merge network? Honestly I have no idea if that would even benefit U.S. players in anyway but I think they really need to consider getting the casino off of US player accounts which is even more heat. IDK ... gl us

Re: Safe to Deposit on Lock Poker?

It is always safe to put money in, problem is getting it out. I have been playing on strictly Merge skins for a year now and have had few problems, but with the whole FTP and PokerStars legal troubles I would put a minimum amount on any Merge skins just to be safe.

What insight you have given the community

Is it just me, or all these threads getting old?

I think I gave a little more insight then what your post did. I know this may sound like a weird concept, but if you dont like the title of a thread, you can try not to click on said thread, let alone read posts in the thread and then following it up by posting in the thread.

Never mind, that makes too much sense.

Oh I made sure I was verified in advance of requesting my check withdrawal.
My May 19 check withdrawal is still "pending" as of May 29 with no word back from support regarding the timeline.
