Re: Lock Poker

Hi, like 4 days ago I registered an account on Lock Poker. I try make a deposit with Visa, but the transaction as been rejected 2 times, so i thought maybe my card isn't accepted on Merge Network, I send some e-mails, and the support told me to try to deposit with Neteller or something. So yesterday I registered an account on Neteller, and i'm waiting for all autorization, but like 2 hours ago, my account on Lock Poker as being banned.

Anyone can explain me why? I never played on Merge Network before, I sent an e-mail but still no response (I know only 2 hours passed)

Someone can help me?

Sorry for my bad english.

Re: Lock Poker

Hey I'm also wondering how people have successfully deposited on Lock Poker with Western Union.

I went to the Cash Transfer option within the deposit tab and entered the minimum $100. Then I received this email below (I changed names for privacy reasons). I guess the instructions seem pretty straightforward, but I went to Western Union and I didn't know where Quezon was, which is pretty important (Philippines?). Also, I didn't know if the Receiver ID info was important b/c it wasn't on the WU transfer form. I ended up not doing it, but it seems like you just transfer money to a random person in Quezon and then hope they credit your account.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is an automated message sent from Lock Poker.

Dear JOE,

Thank you for choosing to deposit at Lock Poker.

Please use the following information to complete your Western Union Cash Transfer.

*****
Name: MARY TERESA WILLIAMS
City: Quezon
Receiver ID: XXXXX
*****

The sender name must be entered exactly as shown here: JOE SCHMO
The amount must be entered as: 100.00 USD

Please advise the Western Union agent that they must submit the transfer in US Dollars and not local currency. Transmitting in local currency will result in a failed transaction.

You can send a Western Union Cash Transfer to fund your account by visiting a Western Union office and filling out a person-to-person transfer form. This service is available at any Western Union location worldwide.

For further information please call:
US 1-800-325-6000
Canada 1-800-235-000
Worldwide: Please visit http://www.westernunion.com/

Please note:
You can send only one Western Union Cash Transfer at a time.
Your transfer amount must be between $100.00 USD and $1000.00 USD
Your receiver name can only be used once, you must request a new receiver name for each Western Union transfer
The receiver name must be spelt exactly as shown above, we will not be able to confirm the transfer otherwise
You must include the sender's full name with your Western Union transfer
You can send money via Western Union at any time, transactions are processed 24/7

Once you have made the transfer, return to the Lock Poker cashier and click the "Continue" link next to your pending transaction on the overview page. Enter your MTCN and then click "Verify". Your deposit will be processed and available in your account in just a few minutes.

As always, if you have any troubles with your poker account don't hesitate to contact our friendly support staff via support@lockpoker.com

See you at the tables soon!

Re: Lock Poker

Posting all of that information (i.e. person's name, which city/country) isn't too bright imo.

I seriously wish people would stop posting that type of info and relegate it to "PM me for details."

Re: Lock Poker

Sorry, I'm new here, obv. But like I said, all names are fake. There is no Mary Teresa Williams in Quezon. That would be a huge coincidence. Is it still bad to post that email?

Who's your ISP? I had iPrimus for awhile and got some interesting information from Neteller Security after being locked there, and they phoned me. Apparently some Aussie service providers bought blocks of IP addresses that show up as originating in the U.S. If you just power off your DSL box for 10 seconds and then restart, it might be enough. In my case Neteller Security stayed with me on the phone the whole time while my PC was rebooting, and confirmed they were once again "seeing" an Aussie IP address. Access to my account was restored immediately while on the phone. It may be too late with a poker site, once they lock you though. Just something worth trying IMO.

Re: Lock Poker

Some things I've noticed in the past 24 hours of being on Lock.

Just deposited on Lock yesterday via WU -- showed up in about 20 minutes during evening hours.

They have lightning fast email support so far -- but all the emails have the same name at the bottom even after 14 hours or so. Long work days in techsupport land? Who knows.

Though they are mentioned in the same ad, you cannot do the deposit bonus with the ipad bonus. But, you get rakeback, ipad, and all their promos minus the deposit bonus, and then once you earn the iPad (or presumably the giveaway period ends on May 31st) youll still get the first deposit bonus on your NEXT deposit to earn within 90 days.

My understanding is now that with RB you still can do VIP, but earn the VIP points only at 65% pace of normal (since you have 35% RB.) Either way, your points DO accrue at 65% of normal im just not 100% sure that you are allowed to be a VIP statusholder once you'd reach it at that slower pace.

Also, the Hand History functionality is bad. Trying to post a hand earlier where a guy folder with $0.01 behind was so frustrating i gave up, even with the hand being as priceless as it was :-P

Anyhow, let me know of any q's, I'm in the game.
