Re: Lock Poker / LockPoker

In your vault you will see a transactions tab. That lists all of the cashback payments. There is also a points redemption tab for turning the VIP points into cash.

It shouldn't take long for your VIP points to be added. Click on the player admin on the client and click vip points ledger and see if and when you got the points for the STTs.

Re: Lock Poker / LockPoker

Well, there is an update coming, but the one i'm referring to I wouldn't expect anytime soon, it is quite a ways off, and will include the rebuy items as well last time I was told. We are definitely talking 2012 at this point though.

thanks

Also, is there any word on fixing the rebuy tourney options, ie: auto double rebuy.... You have proven to be a real asset in the communication between company and player, thanks!

Re: Lock Poker / LockPoker

FYI - you can self exclude by game type. Just e-mail support. So if you want to exclude cash/MTTs/SnGs that can easily be done. If you want to self exclude by stakes (ie I want to play cash, but nothing over 1/2) that can't be done right now.

Thanks

Re: Lock Poker / LockPoker

Sorry -- definately last question:

Why do you get 2 VIP points for the $2.12 STT, and only 3 VIP points for the $5.30 STT?

You're paying 2X times more rake but only receiving 1 extra VIP points. Or am I reading it wrong in my VIP ledger.

Based on the $2.12 vs $5.30 ---- the $5.30 should receive 5 VIP's?

Re: Lock Poker / LockPoker

Better be the last one I'm getting tired of answering these ffs!

Lol completely joking. Yes they have the same monetary value everyday. You just earn twice as many of them on thurs and fri.

Think of it as an extra 10% rakeback on thurs and fri.

Re: Lock Poker / LockPoker

You earn 10 vip points for every dollar raked. So $0.12 rake should redeem 1.2 points and 0.30 should be 3 points. If you are getting 2 points for the twelve cent rake then consider it your lucky day.

Yes, the current effective rake on $1 and $2 6-man super turbos is much less than on $5 supers. They all have 6% rake, but there is this VIP point disparity.

The rake on these games at $5 and up should be lower, imho.

If I have do a player to player transfer from a freind instead of depositing on a new account, can I get the deposit bonus still?

Not speaking for Lock, but the answer would have to be no. A transfer is not a deposit. A transfer doesn't add any funds to the poker economy, it's just moving them around.

Re: Lock Poker / LockPoker

Posted this in the bugs/support thread a couple days ago and no answer yet.

Eric,

With the recent thread that was started in NVG about bots I sent the following email to lock support

"Hi,

Poker bots are becoming a serious issue and threaten the viability of the online poker industry-wide. These bots are better than ever before and teams of really really smart people are working together in an effort to improve them even further. Poker sites need to take this very seriously and should work together to combat this issue as effectively and quickly as possible.

For online poker's future and for the benefit of everyone who is involved in this industry, I urge you to please collaborate with other networks/poker sites in developing ways to make poker bots more difficult to create and less effective. If you do not collaborate then you are not doing everything in your power to stop this epidemic.

A discussion on TwoPlusTwo's forums is ongoing about this issue with suggestions and ideas from other players: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29...-know-1116939/.

Thank you for reading"

After about a day I received the following response which was completely unrelated and shockingly off topic

"Hi Kevin,

Thank you for the email.

We have put the appropriate steps in place to ensure we stay online for all our players. It is business as usual for Lock with both our US and International players are receiving payouts without issue.

We thank you for your loyalty to Lock and hope this eases any unsettling feelings.
sincere regards,

Craig

I'm curious if this could maybe be pushed up the ladder to somebody who could actually give me a related response to ensure the issue is not irrelevant to the site? It's not irrelevant, correct? My account name is YoureGoodButImLucky so the support member can look up my contact info. Thanks
