SEPERATING PLAYER FUNDS...
just because PS does something, doesnt mean every site can afford to. i dont think there are many, if any sites besides PS that keep players funds seperate.
so, my question would be, does party poker or the other euro networks do that? if so, then there is a some validity to that argument. i dont feel like digging for the info, im sure someone else will do it ITT. just my thoughts.

looks like it doesnt matter whether the status changes or not. i am confident that it will be sent out in the next batch. I guess i have to wait and see to find out whether or not im right.
This is correct. i didn't get a 2nd email but rizen said as long as it is authorized you should be fine and it should be sent out on monday. You can check to see if its authorized in the cashier by looking at pending transactions.

My guess is that you havn't earned 1k in points yet, in which case you have not qualified for the vault feature yet or the cashback bonuses that both start at the white vip level (1,000 points). Once you have earned 1,000 points if you don't then have the vault icon/tab to select then I think you have a problem, but I have a couple friends who just started playing and they don't have the vault yet either.

Many discussions itt concerning software, game selection/structures and customer service have sited Stars as the example to strive for. Its clear that Stars right now is the gold standard in the industry. So why wouldn't Lock aspire to that level, unless they are content with being second rate?

Furthermore, I'm asking for some very basic and general info here. Not like I'm asking them to provide something that they don't have the resources to do.

Cuz, Merge sets the rules. The skins have to operate within Merge's framework.

Re: Lock Poker / LockPoker

I can't imagine why they wouldn't be willing to tell people if the players' funds WERE segregated. If they were separate and they made that fact public it would only give players more confidence to deposit and play on their site/network. Would the DOJ crack down on them harder or faster if they knew that Merge kept players' money segregated?

They need to open up the vault feature to everyone, it's getting a bit confusing.

my point was that if u did research it, im sure ud find that they are at "industry standard" level as far as that goes(i could be wrong, its an assumption based on prior info). i really dont even think party poker does this, so i was just saying to allow some slack and pick ur battles. no one is gonna just jump out on the scene and BE another pokerstars w/o alot of work and capitol. calling something second rate before doing the proper research is kinda counter productive imo. im the 1st to ask questions and i hate to not get any answers, so on that note i agree. on the other hand, i think ur being a little overzealous. no offense intended, just my opinion. gl.

Well, it turns out that "industry standard" is not good enough anymore. I realize that Lock has to do what Merge wants them to, so my issue is more with Merge than with Lock obv.

Yeah, just because it's the norm for the industry right now doesn't mean it's good or acceptable. We all have some idea of what can happen to a company that doesn't segregate player funds and it's not a good scenario for the players.

It's obv a risk/reward thing for the individual player though. I think a lot more players would be willing to play on Merge if they knew that player funds were kept separate.

Re: Lock Poker / LockPoker

Does anyone know yet what the Casino Bonuses are for Black Level VIP's ?
And since the rb players are having their points tracked the same way the vip players are being tracked is there a chance the Casino Bonuses might be for both vip and rb players that reach the 10k point mark?
