I feel like I remember back in the day, 6 minute blinds were the turbos and 10 minute blinds were the regulars.

Now 6 minute is the regular and the turbos are 3? what are the hypers?

I know this thread is mainly SNG related, but speaking of turbos, there are way too many turbo MTTs on Lock. I can barely ever find a 10-min blind, GTD MTT.

I'd prefer a 15min blind-increase MTT over 5 or 10min.

some things to improve the dons.

1st allow chat. Casual players want to chat and we need more of them. This does not in anyway keep colluders from colluding.

2nd, get rid of the minute time bank. 30 seconds should be enough.

3rd, not sure if this just a mac thing, but when players sit out, i can't see their chip totals. First don't post that they are sitting out, but if u do, I need to see their chip totals. I know I can go to the lobby and see this, but thats making harder than it needs to be.

4th, again not sure if this is a mac thing or not, but players need to be seated symmetrically to table. Im on simple view, no avatars, can't believe anyone on site uses avatars.

5th. Been said many times on site, but tables need to pop up action is ready. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't.

I have no issue with blind levels, and really think if we change those we well lose getting more players.

1.NO CHAT. The negatives of having chat enabled outweigh the positives. You want to make it easier for colluders? No thanks.

2. Keep that time bank. The software still sucks and is nice to have as a backup in case the client freezes up for a sec or crashes. (that way I can reboot it up fast without losing too many hands.)

3. I don't have a mac. I don't care.

4. again with the mac? Don't care. Do you really care about avatars that much? Last thing lock needs to worry about is avatars.

5. Works fine for me. I've never really had this problem. Quit surfing for pRon while playing lock. It might help.

This may seem like an odd question, but when 2 players get knocked out at once, do the prizes increase by 25%? or is it just the straightforward prize? happened yesterday, but wasn't keeping super tight tabs on my BR and just curious.

Bigger stack before the knockout will get the higher placing. Standard tournament rule probably in place.

I played about 30,000 dons on the old lock, and got about 8 players kicked off for colluding. As stated earlier good colluders are not going to use chat, and if they do, then there not very good. One group of players I got kicked off was because their use of chat. I was asked to join their Skype group after a game so we can discuss playeduring games. Sent support the details and they were not playing again.

The pop up issue I stated has been mentioned by several players. I used to 16 table in my sleep on FT, but with this issue, I'm struggling to play 6. Would love to be able to max out tables, but until this is resolved, can't do it.

Have not have any issues with table freezing at all.

i don't have avatars and could care less about them. I was just saying what my setup was. If players on PCs don't have same layout issues, then i guess its just a mac issue. But again if chip totals on tables are hidden because of players sitting out, this makes it more difficult to mass table.

I am beginning to run into some very bot like players. Players who have over 5000 games already on the new lock. Just hope with all the problems lock is having with software, that bots are not trying to take advantage of this time.

Getting rid of the time bank would surely help get rid of bots, which I think is a far greater issue than players using chat for colluding.

I like the 6 min blinds and am cool with how the don's are now.

Some dudes do seem to abuse the time bank though. Once a guy timed out the full 80 seconds like ten hands in a row on the bubble. I guess he though he was in an mtt and was stalling for the min cash. Don't want to do away with the timebank cuz sometimes you have tough decisions, but tank open folding ten hands in a row doesn't qualify. Maybe only let someone time out completely twice in a row and then shorten it for them for a round or two?
