Anyone get a bank transfer today? I'm pretty sure it was all just BS about getting it by Friday. This is a joke and a half.

Shane posted yesterday that their lame, incompetent processor had moved back the remaining outstanding bank transfers to the beginning of next week. Dangling the carrot in front of us time and time again.

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING STARTING AN ACCOUNT ON LOCK BE SURE TO READ THIS POST

I am generally a very patient person when it comes to worrying about poker cashouts. They are beyond our control and in the current climate, we all know that delays are inevitable. But I have now been waiting two months for my courier check to arrive.

My courier check withdrawal was processed on 1/24. There have been several people who have posted ITT who requested checks well after mine who have received theirs in a timely fashion. After waiting for 6 weeks, I finally decided it was necessary to contact support to see if they could help me by finding out the status of my check. I was told that they would contact the Cashier Manager who would then update me "ASAP" and credit my account if necessary.

Two weeks later I have still heard nothing. A follow up email from me this week was also replied to with the message that the Cashier Manager will contact me "ASAP". Personally, I think it is absolutely unacceptable that no one with any real information is willing to take the time to at least tell me they are aware of my problem and looking into it.

If you are considering depositing on Lock because you have heard the cashouts are being processed quickly know this: it never lasts for long. It may be a couple of days or a few weeks from now, but something will happen and everyone will be back to waiting as long as I have for this check. When that happens, you will be forced to deal with a company who couldn't care less about how long you have been waiting. You will find out that when you email customer support, there is about a 50% chance that your email will be completely ignored. You will find out that you are dealing with a poker company who doesn't care about whether or not you ever see your money. Sound familiar?

There are countless skins on Merge that all offer the same service. Do yourself a favor and continue to shop around. There is bound to be a few that understand that when everybody is selling the same product, the way to differentiate themselves is by actually making an attempt to help their customers when the site makes a mistake.

I'm still hoping to see my money at some point. I'll continue to update the thread with any developments.

For the record, Rizen is aware of my problem and has been quick to reply and forward my messages onto customer support. If everyone at Lock was as professional as him, it'd be a pretty great company. Unfortunately, all he seems to be able to do is pass along info and politely ask other people at Lock to actually do their jobs. I have no doubt he is underpaid for the amount of grief he gets from angry posters here.

Don't interpret this as me being a jerk, because it is not my intention. First of all, I feel really badly that you're in that situation. Honestly. Nobody should have to wait that long for their cashouts. With that said, your situation is very much an anomaly, and is not indicative of Lock's ability to deliver checks. I just received a check exactly a week after requesting it. Again, I'm not rubbing that in your face; it's just a fact.

The point is, somebody considering depositing on lock should NOT look at your case, since it is the extreme. I am left to assume that there were some extraneous errors in your case. Perhaps somebody accidentally misplaced your check...who the heck knows. At any rate, people should instead be encouraged to deposit on Lock. The cash outs have been, in general, far superior to every other skin, and the VIP system they have is at par or better than the rakeback one would receive at any other skin.

Hope you get your money soon dude.

I do recognize that my case is an anomaly. The checks are coming quickly for most. Does that mean they'll be coming next week? You've been playing on lock as long as I have. How many iterations of this cycle have happened? The cashouts come quickly for a short time, and then they don't come at all, wait two months, rinse and repeat.

My point is there is nothing they can do about it. But in my case, there is no reason why they haven't been able to do something. Instead, I was told my case had been sent on to the Cashier Manager two weeks ago. Not only have I not received any update about its whereabouts, I haven't even received an email from the cashier saying they are aware of my problem and looking into it. Two weeks!

What would also be an anomaly is if the current cashier success continues for more than another month. What you should be concerning yourself with when deciding to deposit is how customer service is going to be treating you when your check doesn't come.

I am officially don ewith lock. No support responses. About 90% of what I read is bad. NOt worth the hassle. There are too many other places to play to have to put up with this bs. They are really disappointing. No clue how they can ever run a site with this kind of lack of support and overall lack of respect for its players!!!!!!!!!

Requested a check on 2/15.
Approved and supposedly mailed out on 3/1. No check yet as of 3/24 and support is no longer responding. Does anybody know if you can contact Fedex for a status update once it is mailed since Lock Poker cannot provide this?

Requested WU on 3/17.
Approved on 3/18. Picked up money on 3/18. Thank you Lock Poker. Great job!

how about some real compensation for those of us who used the bank transfer option and still haven't been paid???????? It has now been a full month since I requested mine, my own personal frustration with this matter has been a lot to deal with. The massive delay in receiving payment has disrupted my life to a degree and nobody seems to give a damn. You guys need to make this right.

I thought they weren't doing bank transfers anymore? Only WU and checks not I thought, but it is still pretty lame they don't at least email you to let you know what's going on with your money.

Just posting to say I requested a WU on Thursday and got my money today. I'm glad the WU method is still up, even if it is for a lesser amount.

I requested mine on the 22nd and got it today, so it might be there as early as tomorrow. I know it's not universal across the board, but I live in AL and since the checks got quicker I haven't had a bad payout experience on lock.

This is exactly the point I am trying to make above. There is a complete failure in how Lock reacts whenever there is a breakdown in the withdrawal process. There seems to be dozens of people ITT who were affected by the bank transfer fiasco. Some have received their money, some haven't. After waiting weeks longer than the initial time frame, then repeatedly hearing new target dates, how many people are happy with the way Lock treated you when this problem arose.

Problems happen that are beyond their control. We can't blame them for that. What we can blame them for is how they respond to those problems.

I got an e-mail today saying my Bank Transfer from 2/26 had been cancelled and returned to my account.

Of course it hasn't been credited to my account yet, so we'll see what happens.

Same here, they said it was returned due to "invalid information" which I think is bs because I triple checked the info before I sent the request, but w/e. I have gotten the money in my account; glad to have this ordeal over with.

Same thing. I'm positive that I gave them the right info, but whatever, got my money back. Cool that no one involved could ever admit making a mistake.

OK, looks like the money was just returned from my cashout.

They also gave me the same story of "invalid info". I'm sure I triple checked all the info before submitting it to them, but whatever, glad to have my money back.
