I think when people have problems with their cashouts they like to go on the forums and complain (I know I do) but when everything goes smoothly you don't tend to hear about it.

Hey, I can put you in touch with a guy on skype. His screen name on lock is idvalenciaa.... he has 400K dollars in trades. I used him for 2300 dollars and he sent it immediately for 90 cents on the dollar meaning if you have 2500 youll get roughly 2230 wired....(we split the wire fee which was $42) let me know if you cant figure it out. its better than waiting 6 weeks for your cash.

MOD EDIT:

Hey, I can put you in touch with an insta-ban.
tippiebiz08's offer is the M.O. for countless previous scammers on this site.
Nothing resembling idvalenciaa.... on Lock.
That was mikey4141's first post which also sounds like an invitation to be scammed.

For everyone's info the 2+2 Internet Poker Transfer Thread is HERE.
Not reading the rules and trading guides in the OP will likely get your posts infracted and deleted, and worse, put your money at risk.

whoops, my bad. I was going by memory. Didnt know Id get so disciplined like Im some bad guy, nice way to welcome new members to your forum. LOL. All i know is I was NOT offering a trade outside the transfer thread, I said I would put him in touch with the guy and the guy is Heads_up_pro on here, besliu valentin from romania, a lot of people use him....how is that so bad? I just didn't wanna put the guys name out there in the clear air, but hey if your going to question my integrity...then ok there you go, sorry besliu but apparently u get banned on here for doing something out of true generosity. Man is 2p2 full of cynicals or what?

If I said I could put you in contact with someone to help you transfer your money, how is that not the same as saying I can transfer you the money myself? It's actually even worse, because it's less verifiable and shadier. Whether you're not a scammer or you are, nobody should trust someone with 4 posts who is trying to put people in contact with a guy who can transfer money for them. Innocent or not, policing this sort of stuff saves people tons of money and helps keep the amount of scamming to a minimum.

Still, every year hundreds of people get scammed on this site, and it's important that we protect against that by reporting posts that are similar to past scam posts. The way you've approached transferring fits the standard scammer strategy 100%. Nobody should trade with you or anyone you suggest unless they happen upon a post by your friend in the transfer thread linking them to tons of past transfers which were successful. That's just the way things work here, it's in everyones best interest that we continue to operate like this. Sorry if you feel you've been picked on or whatever, but this is how things have to be for the good of everyone.

I will try to keep this short...
I joined lock not too long ago because I missed online poker.
I won some money, and decided to cash out, to see if they would uphold their end of the agreement to pay within 6 weeks, which is what they said they would do when I signed up with them. We have to follow rules and so must they, it's a business arrangement. I find it hard to believe it takes six weeks for such a simple financial transaction, but that's what the agreement was.
At the 5 week mark I reminded them about my request for a check to be sent to my home.
They changed the arrangement and said I could go to any western union to pick up the money....I did not ask them to change the arrangement. They did it without consulting me. i am traveling for a while, drove nine miles to a western union, had to fill out forms, only to find out I couldn't pick it up at that location.
I believe they simply can't or won't write the check. There is obv a problem at lock.
Their stock just went way down in my book...
oh, how I miss the netteller days.

they have done this to me three times. personally, i'm okay with it. How is going to pick up money via Western Union any different than driving to the bank to deposit the check? plus you don't have to hassle with them for the check fee reimbursement as it's included in the western union wire.

They sent me an e-mail stating that casino side withdrawal would now be faster via western union and told me to withdrawal that way. I don't see a western union withdrawal option, only deposit.

anybody?

I understand that. You only have one WU in your area? Most grocery stores have them. I don't know why any WU would refuse it.

Question that might be asked before, but I haven't checked the whole thread.

If someone transfer money to my Lockpoker account how long will it take before I can cashout? And do you have to play with the tranferred funds before you can cashout?

I am European by the way and have done a cashout a long time before that was pretty fast with Neteller.

Thank you in advance.

It is definitely 4 days and you do not need to play with it.

I want to know why Lock reimburses 15 dollars for a check fee if its the 1st one of the month but only if you email and ask for that reimbursement. What if I never came to the 2p2 forum? How would I ever know to do this. I dont think thats fair. Why wouldnt this just be automatic or why at the least wouldnt the players get an email to clearly explain the way things work over there at Lock. Not cool and Not FAIR. I think players deserve an explanation of why Lock communication is so poor.

Things are clearly explained in the withdrawal options as to how checks work. They were for me at least. You would think it would be automatic but w/e. When the check clears your account its simple to email them and its never taken more than a day to receive it.

I wouldn't say it's "not fair" . Its a very small site in comparison to ft or stars and being one of the few US accepting sites, i think its fair to say you will have to take the bad with the good.

Someone had mentioned a cap of $9,900 and not know why.

At $ 10,000, the money transaction must be reported to IRS and other government agencies.

Less than a week. I've heard anything from 24 hrs to 4-5 days.
