Love being lied to constantly, great company to deal with.
i had the same thing happen to me. only difference is that my check was supposed to have been sent in april, and I still haven't got anything. They are tracing the check for me though. they've been doing that for two months.

Obviously it took the security team 3 months to figure out a legit reason to decline you.

Yeah so it seems. My guess is that I was declined for not meeting play through requirements. I had a staking deal with someone on Lock and when he xfered the money back to me post stake it was around the time where everyone realized that the whole thing was a scam, and at that point there was no play through requirement on winnings so i cashed about 2/3 of the money. Then they put on the play through requirement when my first check was pending and I kind of said "wow this is obviously Lock trying to steal money" and immediately tried to cash out the last 1k that I had kept on there in case I wanted to stake someone else or use to play in the future if I thought lock became reputable. Obviously Lock was having none of that and decided that they get to take possession of my money completely illegally for no legitimate reason. Such is life, looks like I'm out 1k. Could have been worse. I'll keep re-requesting indefinitely though.

I mean it's a long shot given their ability to respond to customers but I think you should at least try to find out the reason for the decline.

If the cash out is declined for play through you can always meet that requirement then cash out.

If they won't tell you and/or confiscate the money then who knows.

I got the Curacao Gaming commission e-mail. For those who want to file a complaint with them its www.curacao-egaming.com. I know it is probably na´ve of me, but I think getting an outside authority to exert pressure and/or assistance on lock Poker is as good as any strategy I've seen thus far.

Re: Lock Poker cashout thread (10 WEEK MINIMUM WAIT) - not a transfer thread (see OP)

isn't it kahnawakee gaming commission?

I agree that legal action needs to be taken and proper authorities need to be notified. what they've done is probably criminal. They obviously cannot satisfy their obligations to their creditors. They probably need to file bankruptcy. At least if they go that route, players will get what little assets there are to distribute, rather than any more of it going to the upper management fraudsters.

I predict Lock comes to a crashing end very soon. There's no happy ending here.

what makes you think this now? As compared to 2 months ago, when money was still worth .3-.35 and they still had 5 - 6 month cahsouts.

Re: Lock Poker cashout thread (10 WEEK MINIMUM WAIT) - not a transfer thread (see OP)

every day that goes by with no improvement makes for a grimmer outlook.

what could they possibly do to right the ship?

nothing except get a bailout, which is unlikely. their lack of payouts, at this scale, cannot be attributed to lost checks, processor issues, etc. its simply lack of money.

They probably stole and/or commingled player funds with operating funds. I'm just speculating but I don't think it's all that speculative to predict this hell they've brought upon themselves can continue much longer.

Someone needs to file a lawsuit under the kanawakke or curacao laws. under any reasonable jurisdiction that would have happened long ago.

the licensing people are crooks too

We looked into doing this after UB/AP shutdown. They owed players more than $50million (not including funds that were stolen by the owners via godmode and never refunded).

When they shut down they only had a few million dollars on hand and some worthless assets. We were advised by multiple law firms that this would be a jurisdiction nightmare as many of the liable parties are located in Costa Rica, Antigua, Europe, and an Indian reservation in Canada. Because of this, no law firms were willing to take the case on contingency, but I was told by multiple lawyers that a case like this would require $200k-$500k to even get started.

Now that you understand how difficult it is for anyone do to anything about fraud like this, it might make it easier to understand why many of these sites operate similar to a ponzi scheme. When the house collapses the owners want all the cash in their personal accounts (or under their mattress) and the absolute minimum in the company accounts.

If anyone was actually willing to put up the money to sue any of these sites it would be extremely easy to break the corporate veil and go after personal assets. You would do this by proving that the owners are co-mingleing company and personal funds, which imo every cent that the owners pay themselves while not being able to cover player liabilities is evidence of this. But the amount of time and effort to locate those assets is a whole new bag of worms. Your talking about bank accounts and other assets in numerous countries, many of which won't even have a paper trail.

I'm not saying Lock Poker operates this way, but draw your own conclusions.

Shane,
Can we get an update on any money sent out this week? I haven't seen anyone post that they've received anything in awhile.

Hello,

The Cashier Manager has informed us that your Check withdrawal had been added to the Priority List and has been marked as URGENT, therefore it is a Priority for us to process your Check withdrawal as soon as possible.

And I have also added a $10 bonus to your Poker Account to compensate for the delay.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Many thanks,

200 Days !

I've sadly reached a new milestone of 200 days in my wait for a $658 check, time stamped Jan 13, 2013, and Status of "Verified" since February. Grown tired of endless empty promises from Lock Support. Any advice Shane?
