A professional from another skin on merge that i talk to on a daily basis. Not sure why he would make this up especially seeing as how i was gonna switch to that skin and would be his affiliate once merge starts accepting us players.

is the first check requested free still? i requested my first check and it says pending $2485...also whats the limit on number of check requests per month? can i request one on merge side and one on poker side simultaneously?
08-18-2011 , 09:37 AM
I will ask, but if this is true no one made me aware of it. As of today the check withdrawal option through the Merge cashier still shows up on my screen.

Thanks

Yes, it is free still but you have to request to get reimbursed after it is processed. You can request one on the merge side and one on the casino side simultaneously, you can also request one check per week on the casino side, regardless of if the previous one was sent out or not, so you could (and many have) multiple check requests on the casino side. On the merge/poker side you can only have the one pending request.

Thanks

Ok, so I tried to withdraw back to neteller (which is how I deposited), it was pending for a week and then I was told in an email that it had been "declined due for the following reason: Unknown error. Transaction failed."

Excellent! It then suggested I try Moneybookers or Cash transfer but these options don't come up when I go to the withdrawal page but I don't see why I can't withdraw back to neteller (I'm in the UK).

I have not verified my account but I've not been asked to: to be honest, I was expecting to be asked to do so when I initiated the cash out process.

Would this have gone through if I had verified my account? Anyone with a similar experience?

I have had a check requested on the casino side since July 21. This was always the only withdraw option available for me. When I just checked today, I now have 2 other options. Moneybookers and EcoCard. I am in the US. These 2 options are only available on the casino side and not showing up on the poker side. Should all future withdraws been done with Moneybookers since I've been told these are much quicker than checks?
08-18-2011 , 01:34 PM
what is the eco card option? prepaid discover or visa?
08-18-2011 , 01:48 PM
US residents cant get moneybookers anymore correct?

Merge not allowing US players to cash out is definitely NOT true. I've confirmed that.

I will ask but i'm virtually positive that MoneyBookers and EcoCard are not available in the US. I'm not sure why these are showing up.

Can you please check on this for me because I just signed up for a moneybookers account and was about to make a withdraw through that. I don't know what the EcoCard is but I'm assuming it's similar to a debt card.
08-18-2011 , 03:45 PM
Moneybookers and EcoCard are showing up on my withdrawal page as well. It'd be nice if these are actual options for those of us in the US. From reading through this thread, it doesn't seem like anyone has received a check anytime in the last few weeks. Am I wrong on that? Sounds like some cashouts have been "Authorized" but not actually received since mid-late July.

My cashouts from 8/1 and 8/9 are still "Requested" on the casino side and my cashout from 8/5 is still "Pending approval" on the poker side.

BTW Rizen, thanks for all the responses, it's just concerning to see so many people waiting so long to receive their $$.
08-18-2011 , 05:19 PM
Confirmed, these are not US options. I'm not sure if they're suddenly showing up or if they always have, but the text notes that they aren't available in the US.

I know of 1 or 2 new withdrawal methods in the works, I'm just really hesitant to comment on them at all until they're much closer to reality. With our experiences with the cash to card processor as well as the state of flux in general with US processors I just don't want to promise the community anything until I have a high degree of certainty they will be an option.

I got one like 4 or 5 weeks ago.

But have other people started having trouble with the cashout through the casino trick? I initiated a cashout on August 4th and it was still in "Requested" status on August 18th, today. I e-mailed support very early in the morning on August 18th, but before they got back to me I'd lost a bit more after having a bad couple days before that .... so I didn't want to withdraw as much anymore. I canceled my cashout and then a little later requested a new one, again through the casino, for a little less $. Then I e-mailed them again. Five hours ago I got this:

Hi [My Name Redacted],

Since you are a Poker player and due to an increase in volume in the Casino Cashier, I suggest requesting a payout in Poker. Please cancel and transfer your payout to Poker and I will ask that our Poker Cashier Manager ensure that your payout is a Priority.
All my best,

Elle

Also, it's not like I haven't ever played in their casino. I have played it on 5 different occasions. 7 different sessions tax wise (5 blackjack, 2 caribbean stud). And crazily I never lost, 7 of 7 for a total of +$1,945. Somehow Atlantic City messing around always goes the exact opposite way, including last week.

Maybe I should try what Elle says ..... I'm just wary because it wasn't long ago that I was hearing that the cashouts through the poker client took 6+ weeks easily.

Any thoughts from anyone before I do anything? Rizen?

i think the poker side is faster than the casino side now. i requested a check from each side on august 2nd and i have already received the poker side check, while the casino check is still "requested"
08-19-2011 , 03:11 AM
i just got this email from lock support. so are they doing western union cashouts now?

"Hi there,

First, our sincerest apologies for the payout delays. Our Casino had informed us that we can make an exception and send your payout via Western Union. If you are interested we can get this done for you within 24-48 hours. Let us know if you prefer this and we can complete this for you.
All my best,

Elle "

At what point did your cashout on the poker side say something other than "Pending Approval"? I still have a cashout from August 5th on the poker side that's still stuck there.

Plus cashouts from August 1st and August 9th on the casino side that are still "Requested". It would be nice to get something from either side.

Thanks for the info. It'll suck if they stop processing casino side payouts for poker players cause the poker side will only let you do one cashout at a time. That means you can only cashout up to $2500 "every 4-6 weeks" (their timeframe listed). For high volume/high stakes players that's obviously a major issue.

It was approved august 14th, so about two weeks later. so your's should get approved pretty soon. hopefully its out with this sunday/mondays batch

cashout requested Aug 1 still listed as "requested" for me. Slower than normal

As of right now this is case by case for users that have been waiting a while and have withdrawals that fall under the WU amount limitations.
