Im new on lock and all these posts are making me nervous, when is the last time anyone's actually received a check?

I requested a withdrawal around 2 months ago, got my gift card via fedex a week and a half ago. Card can't be activated due to 'problems with their servers' and i STILL have not got a reponse from lock after I emailed them and they said they would "look into it."

It doesn't seem like they're able to process withdrawals. I would advise against depositing there. Posting this so others understand if you deposit you risk being in the position that I'm in right now, not knowing if I'll get that money back. Was probably stupid of me to deposit money onto a poker site post black friday.

Samenole I had previously gotten two cashouts. The first one took about two weeks, the next one took 25 days, and currently waiting on one. The other two checks cleared no problem.

Hi SamENole, long time. Same boat here with lock poker.

Requested cash out - 8/3
Status changed to "Authorized" - 8/14

I'm not sure what that means but I will update once that status changes or when I receive check.

Dumb question but makes sense to me since receiving them from other sites... Why don't all online gaming sites send out withdrawals in the form of prepaid visas/mastercards?

I've gotten 4 cashouts for the max since they started the check by courier option. They are taking longer than before, but i wouldnt be nervous about not getting it, you just have to plan accordingly. I have 4 more checks pending, and i believe the timeframe no is in the 4week range to get a check. FWIW, the poker side and casino side checks seem to be taking around the same amount of time now, although there have been problems with payouts from the poker side lately, ie. gift cards not working etc.

This was a poker side cashout I'm sure, which means Merge processed it not Lock. Merge has been slammed since BF which is why they stopped taking new US players. They had been running 4-8 week backlog on payouts, which is why Lock's casino cashout option was so attractive. So your complaints against Lock are unfounded -- Lock was paying out from their casino when Merge wasn't paying anybody at all.

Now that Merge is catching up and Lock has been getting slammed on the casino side, they're converging on their payout timelines. But I'd much rather have a check than a debit card, so I'll continue with casino checks while they're available. Plus there have been reports of Merge checks bouncing and debit cards not working.

This is a good example of a downside of being a skin. The upside is that no rogue skin can run off with player funds since the network handles the money, but the downside is when the network screws up, the skins get blamed unfairly. Based on my experience with Lock so far, I'd much rather be cashing out through their casino than through Merge, at least until Merge gets their issues straightened out.

Timeframe is suppose to be 3-4 weeks but do not buy into that. It is over four weeks now for me and it wasnt shipped out yesterday so at the earliest it will be sent out next Monday as they only ship on Monday. Best case scenario will be six weeks it looks like, so to be safe plan for atleast six weeks.

Well, I emailed them and explained that I wanted to change the amount of my cash out but that I was not willing to sacrifice any time that I already waited. They emailed me back and told me that I could cancel the request then make a new one and that they would ensure my check goes out with the "next batch". After I cancelled the request and made a new one, my cash out showed "Authorized" status within minutes.

Could someone explain how it takes almost a month to get checks when the checks are being sent out from the United States? That seems absurd.

They do their checks in batches, like once a month, so if you order a check after the last group was "sent out" than youll wait a month. By sent out I obviously mean the cutoff of that batch, which is before that batch is actually delivered, prob a week or two before

Batches are actually done every Monday. Based on what I'm being told the average wait time should still be ~3 weeks. I followed up today to ask if that had changed. From what I'm hearing volume has gone up but the average time should still be ~3 weeks and from what I've heard it's about the same on the poker side.

It is obviously more complicated than this. I explained the process in detail I believe elsewhere in this thread just a week or so ago. Cliff's notes is there is an audit process all accounts must go through (this is to catch people cheating, scamming, etc before they get the money offline and there is little recourse for it). right now this is taking 7-10 days because of the queue of requests (honestly I think it's more like 10-14 from what I'm seeing, but 7-10 was the last thing I was told). then we have to send the batch information of to the processor and they have to process the checks, which takes 3-5 business days (which depending on the day of the week, can be 3-7 real days) then another 2-5 business days for FedEx delivery (which can be 2-7 real days).

So depending on lots of factors the entire process right now can take anywhere from 12-28 days depending on the size of the pending queue and what day of the week the other factors fall into place. When we first started the process it was taking ~48 hrs for the audit piece, which is why checks were taking 7-16 days at first. we are working on adding security people and getting them up to speed to help handle the queue, as that is the part of the time frame we can control.

This just cant be true, I requested a check on the Jul 18th, and rec it on the 4th, requested a check on Jul 29th and its still requested, I also requested a check yesterday, Id be willing to lay decent money that I receive both yesterdays and the 29th check on same day.

It is pretty frustrating with the inconsitency of when people are getting their checks but props to Rizen for handling everyones questions. There are some pretty sweet features on the site too that actually stars and tilt do not have, hope lock sticks. Can anyone actually confirm though that they had a check sent out yesterday, just curious.

i recently changed locations from new jersey to cabo and want to know if international transfers would be much quicker? I just kinda fear sending something to e-mail as their e-mail support on lock is on par with how ftp support currently is. i've sent about 18 diff e-mails and gotten 3 generic responses so far.

any help?

I wish I was average then. My casino check was requested on 7/25, hasn't changed, and is still only showing as Requested. I'm not so sure poker checks aren't going out faster than casino checks now.

Looks like 6 weeks before I get my check. No problem for me, just as long as the check clears...

if you are in a location where you can use an eWallet like Moneybookers it is MUCH faster. Usually just a couple of days. In the last few weeks I've seen MB payouts on the poker side go as fast as 2 hrs and as slow as 4 days.

it looks like the poker side checks r going faster than the casino side now. i requested a check from each side both on august 2nd. i received the poker side check today (two weeks from requested to receiving the check), while the casino check is still listed as requested and will prob end up taking twice as long (about a month)

Hi Rizen i dont usually come on 2+2 but i see you are what looks like the promo guy for Lock Poker here so im hoping you can help me out...

Im nearly close to giving up now, i have a withdrawal (from moneybookers) which i took out around 7 weeks ago, after 3 weeks it changed to authorized, and then for the past month its just stayed like that and ive had no money. Ive actually been waiting over two months in total now as they wanted to authorize my account (thats the only email they have ever sent me).

The most frustrating thing is they dont even reply to any of my emails i just get ignored, ive tried literally 3 different emails and tried off two different emails myself, still no reply, so i just dont know where im at, im very dissapointed as you can imagine. If you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated.

Rizen i was just told if you were American that you couldn't withdrawal from Merge since yesterday can you confirm this?
