Not true. Wells Fargo would go through a 3rd party and take 4 to 10 weeks.

OK, thought I would update my transaction today. I posted this in another Lock thread concerning checks and cashouts so if it looks familiar, now you know.

Had a request on the 7th of June. Processed ok on the 21st of June. Contacted Eric Rizen here on the status of my check and he forwarded to Lock support and sent me a copy approx. July 20th-22nd. Recieved check approximately July 25th. Tried cashing it in my Wells Fargo ATM and said it was unacceptable/not a check. OH NOOOO! Went to an inside branch on 28th of July (Saturday) and since I didn't have the money to cover it, it would be processed from a 3rd party and take 4 to 10 weeks (**** that!) as it is international. Only bank inside a supermarket open late and other bank closed hours before. Went to Chase bank on the 30th of July (Today MOnday) and they cashed the check with no problem. I got my money!
As long as it doesn't bounce, the process worked but took way too long to go the check route if you play on Lock. They also charged $25 for their 7 week wait. I only cashed out of Lock because they switched networks and no longer have HORSE & stud Hi/lo. Making looking to Aced or Carbon as long as their cashouts are like PokerStars (damn I miss them!).

Also, I saw that someone requested the $25 processing fee creditted because either the wait was too long or they do it anyways (which I doubt of the later one). If true, I will at least play $25 on the site.

I started with $100 and got the account to $957 before calling it a closed deal since I don't play no limit that often enough to stay with Lock. I did keep my bonus accidentely on there of around $25 so I will continue to play micro SnG and such. I am not sure if anyone is having problems with much bigger cashouts but at least this recreation player got his money and can pay some bills and pop on another $100 somewhere else.
HORSE and Stud Hi/Lo SnG and tournaments, any suggestions?

I had a withdrawal request via Western Union on 7/14/12 and according to lock support it takes a week max it's been 16 days and I'm growing tired of their lack to respond email and when they do it's te same thing we have sent it to our cashier an they will get to you. Another person told me its 7-10 business days well today is the 11th business day, I demand some type of answers from lock support. If anybody can help me please do. This is pissing me off and it's just frustrating. I could really use the money but they are just not processing it, a western union withdrawal takes at most 3 business days.

Good to hear they cashed it, I guess policy varies from state to state, branch to branch? I don't know, I got 4-6 weeks told to me across the board. No one would cash it immediately. One bank said 5 days hold which means it would clear tomorrow. Finger's crossed. But if your check cashed out, that great news to hear! Mine should follow suit being of the same batch?

Well, I cashed it out but my account has more in it than the check so I am still needing to wonder if it will be good in 5,6,7 or more days. I was excited to get the check but the next process is making sure it sticks in my bank account.
As a US player, I don't mind a little delay on getting a check but when you charge $25 (almost double what PS charged) and takes 2 weeks to approve when I was getting checks from PS within 2 weeks, it doesn't look good. If they were honest and said it takes two to four weeks, ok make it in that time. Just don't take 7 weeks and charge a $25 processing and shipping fee.

Assuming this is your first check of the calendar month, just e-mail support and they'll reimburse the $25 fee.

Stop being a cry baby in this poker environment. Some WU have been taken 2-3 weeks OMG cry me a river. A laugh when people complain about waiting 2 weeks for a withdrawal. Look in the thread u will get your money just takes time and quit whining about having to wait two weeks it's bad karma

I'm in the US and requested a WU withdrawal that was approved 7/21 - cashier history is:

21/07/2012 12:31 Coupon Reversal Withdrawal Approved! ($160.00)
21/07/2012 12:31 Coupon Reversal Withdrawal Requested ($160.00)
21/07/2012 12:31 Lock Transfers Withdrawal Approved! ($875.00)
21/07/2012 12:31 Lock Transfers Withdrawal Requested ($875.00)
21/07/2012 12:24 DF-EPT_WU Withdrawal Declined $990.00
10/07/2012 2:07 DF-EPT_WU Withdrawal Requested ($990.00)

It doesn't specify that the approval is WU and I haven't received any instructions for picking up the money. I did get an email response from Quinn (cashier) when I requested information, but they just said to look at my history page. (A new WU withdrawal system is in place. Pending withdrawals have been rejected and resubmitted into our new system. Please view the history of your cashier where you will see the details of your payout.) So...

What's up? There are no details in the history. Can anyone in the States give me information on how long it takes after approval to receive a WU code and what the process is, or if my withdrawal is even WU? I was so excited to get a response from them, but very disappointed that it didn't answer my question.

Apparently it depends on the branch. Took 48 hours to clear in July for me.

Any idea of the ETA on the 7/14 batch?

Check cleared the bank today, day 5!! Finally got the $$$ from 6/21, cleared and ready to do damage!!

I am still waiting on a check from June 18th. Lock has been taking a week to respond to any of my emails, but doesnt answer any questions regarding my payout.

This has been exceptionally frustrating. I find this questionable at best, fraudulent at worst. Has anyone actually received payouts in the US?

Of course -- if you had read anything at all in this thread you just posted in, you'd see that. It's slow as hell, sure, but that's the state of US online poker these days.

I read a number of pages and none of it was good. 245 pages is a lot of pages to get through to find if anyone received any money

Cliffs of thread: People are getting paid but it's an extremely slow process.

Also, any updates on when this next batch of checks are going to process Shane?
Requested a check on July 3rd and it still hasn't processed.

Whats the average process time for a neteller withdrawal nowadays?
08-01-2012 , 03:51 PM
Does Lock have a playthrough requirement for withdrawing after a transfer, or just a time period? Does anyone know what/how much it is exactly?

$3K check, US player

Requested: 6/4
Processed: 6/21
Received: 8/1

Cashed out 3k via Fed Ex that was processed on June 26th and am still waiting on it. Cashier has not answered any of my questions. You would think that you would have a tracking number on a Fedex package. I also requested wu withdrawal last night for 2k after I cancelled a second fedex request that had been pending for 3 weeks. I've won a substantial amount of money on lock but until now it's simply monopoly money. I'll let you know if it turns into real green or if this is bs.

I have a few questions about a Western Union withdrawal on Lock.

1) How long does it take for Lock to send WU your money?
2) I know WU charges 10% for each transaction, however Lock says 1 transaction free per month. I have heard that Lock refunds the 10% back into your Lock account. Is this true?
3) Do I receive an email from WU when they receive my money from Lock for me to come pick up?

Thanks in advance.

1) The current WU withdrawal time has been about 14 days lately.
2) Yes...they refund it into your casino account which you can transfer to your poker account.
3) Yes...they either send you an email or the mtcn appears in your cashier history.
