? What are you asking? Yes, everyday you reach 3K points, you have a chance at the level 3 drawing. If you only reach level 2 or 1 in a particular day, you are entered for that drawing. If you don't reach any of them, you aren't in any of the drawings.

Looks like the cost of the bike is about $12,500 so roughly equal value there assuming the ME seat comes with airfare, etc.

Once upon a time, Stars was giving cash to their players when they won a main-event seat, and then would get free hotel or something if they arrived and agreed to play the actual event. Otherwise, they could just keep the cash if they preferred. If this going to be the method with Lock? Is there going to be a way to keep the cash if the player prefers?

If I recall correctly stars only allowed this for Wsop seats - anything else they forced you to play. The reasoning behind this was because the World Series of poker would not allow the poker sites to actually buyin for the player thus forcing stars to give you cash. I imagine that Rule is still in place so Lock would have no choice but to give you cash

Do Not Blink - Lock does have a choice. They can make you sign something promising to play before they give you the money. They can show up there with you in LV and not give you the money until you arrive and then register. There are lots of ways to do it. The fact that Stars did it one way means only that it is one of the ways of doing it.

Stars had 1,000+ players qualify for the M.E. Once the WSOP disallowed 3rd party entries in 2006 Stars had to change it up and that's what they decided on. I qualified for the Main Event in 2005 via Stars when they still accepted 3rd party entries. So I had no option to just accept the cash.

But Lock isn't going to have 1,000 qualifiers. And even if they did they could still make you agree ahead of time to play it if they forward the cash to you. Not that it would necessarily be enforceable but they might demand proof that you registered and they do still have control over your account, etc etc.

Our preference is for the player to take the WSOP seat and play or take the bike.

Players wanting WSOP seats is only half the reason we offer prizes like this, the exposure of someone going to WSOP with a free seat starts at a very close level of their friends and if they run well can mean some great exposure on the tournament floor.

Same goes for the Ducatti, I imagine that if a player won that their Facebook feed and forums everywhere would be covered with pictures of them on the Ducatti. Cash just doesn't have the same effect.

Interestingly there has been an obvious trend in the daily Lotto winners to take physical prizes over the cash or points equivalents. So far it seems players do prefer to get their hands on something physical when given the chance.

it is fine that it is Lock's "preference" but that does not answer the question as to whether it is a requirement of winning. I am thinking that might mean that one could get away with accepting the cash? Hard to tell.
