yesterday after I busted the $55 3k mtt I go to sit at a cash table and it says generic error, so I try to sit at a husng instead and it gives me a similar message, I go to cashier it gives me an error message account is held so I log off and try to get back in and says error 212 account held, ahh.

So I contact support, evidentally the email on file with my account is 1 number off of my real email and they said no problem we will do what we can to help so then about an hour later they request some documents, I sent them in and about an hour later I ask whatsup then they stick me with this: Please email us from the email you have on file. seriously? I told them the mistake, and worst party about it is out of spite I tried to create the email typo from my account and somebody is using it! I emailed that person and it said the email is not registered or something but it says it's taken already.

1) It's not my fault Lock poker doesen't have an email verification link you press before any real money play is allowed on the site. so there should be a way to fix this because they allowed me to play high stakes without verifying my typo email. I have about $5k in the account luckily i sold off 12k a few days before but still 5k is a lot of money.

Anybody can help me?

I ask them why my account isn't reinstated today and they sent me this:

-Yes I moved since I made my lock account, I didn't see any change of address button in the lock cashier, actually there is nothing in the lock cashier to change anything, seems like lock is trying to rob me blind...

I send the my Drivers License and Recent Utility bill from my current address and they giving me crap, seriously?

"Ensure your billing details are correct and up-to-date or your deposit and withdrawal options will be limited.

Contact our support team to update your account information."

Once again, a user doesn't read the rules and then complains that Lock has stolen their money for no reason.

what do you mean i didn't read the rules i sent in my new documents drivers license and utility bill can somebody move? yeah i moved and theres $5,000 in my account i'm on the leader boards. I have many references and vouchers to verify anything and everything needed to provide my legitimacy they locked my account for no reason in the first place. I don't see no change of address button in the lock cashier, I don't see the email verification buttton either.

Didn't you say they locked your account because you had two different email addresses?

That is not "no reason"

i never said they locked my account because i had 2 email addresses moron. I never said i have two email addresses, i was playing normally when out of nowhere i am prevented access to my account i go to email them and realize i made a typo in the email i initially entered when i created my account, i started last sunday so only realized it recently.

clearly lock poker is the only site that does not require email verification before real money play is allowed which is a huge breach in security anyway

It's there, but still hope they can resolve this in a normal matter ofcourse, everyone can make mistakes.

thanks man I did email them to update i don't see why there should be any problem I have a valid drivers license and utility bill my date of birth on my dl matches the dob on the account exactly so an identity check is NO issue here.

there's $5k in my bankroll and am not happy to just Give it up to lock, i dont understand they locked my account in the middle of a session...why?

I hope this gets resolved for you.

The best piece of advice anyone can give you at the moment is to remain calm, and keep it classy. You admittedly made a mistake when giving them your email incorrectly.

Where/how did you sell off the 12k days before? What/who are the references and vouchers? I am sure if you were to provide that information here something could be done. If you really do have nothing to hide, what is your Lock account name?

Okay, I can understand a "typo" in the email address going unnoticed since you only began on, Sunday I think you said; where I get a tad lost is why did you start on Sunday knowing you were moving on...I guess Monday??

yes who i sold the lock to is personal business, yes i final table the 70k 1st day on my account and won a lot of hu sngs and cash games running hot until they decide to close my account, hope its back up soon just lock security takes ages to respond, idk their entire operation seems questionable

Not really personal business when you come on here and post this stuff. It's not adding up, and you claimed to have vouchers and everything. So who are the vouchers or what information can you provide?

I don't know what you want to really accomplish here if you don't provide any information.

I emailed the person with that email and I got a failed return message sent back to me, but I tried to make an email under that name and it was already taken.

But to provide documents for my account, is beyond me that there is any reason they can't give me access to my account. Hopefully it's all fixed soon and lock security is just super slow at resolving any issues, I had my moneybookers account frozen for almost a week before it was resolved

Is it fair for you to start a thread here and claim to have vouchers/references regarding this and not provide any information? Why did you post that you had 5k in your account and you sold 12k a few days before?

You just joined the 2p2 forums today, and you claim you started on Lock last Sunday. What are these big connections you would have to sell such high amounts?

What are you hoping to get out of this if you don't provide any information or back up your claims? You already talked to Lock Security, and the point of coming on here would be to post more information and show that there is something wrong. If you can't provide any real information...there is no point to this thread. It seems fishy to me and I think you are clearly lying about some things.

#1 - Lock Security told you why your account was locked. I think there is more to it than what you are saying here.

#2 - You only have 10 posts and joined today. Who are you sir? You created this thread feeling you were wronged by Lock. So provide the information that you can. What is you Lock account name? Let's start with that.

sorry you have been rude I don't know if you are able to help so I will not answer your questions, no lock did not tell me why my account was held.

to me they seem real shady, I am just posting this now and will update when they get back to me so far they asked for documents, I sent them in, then they said it don't match the account because the address is different.

I told them i moved still waiting response

Just to get this straight: you did tell them you were moving before you moved, right? or during, or very shortly after at least. You did everything in your power to change the address on your account then. If so, why wasn't the address already changed? Why are you in this situation? If you saw it wasn't changed then, why didn't you keep bugging them to do so untill it got corrected?

Infact, if as said above you only joined Lock about a week ago, is this correct? Then surely you can't have moved during this same week, right?
