Lock buys Cake? Lock buys Cake?

probably be alot less work to give UB a call and buy their software rather than redesigning cakes from the ground up

Curious about this too.

What about the players currently on the Cake Network? Will the cashouts be processed through Lock cashier? or will Cake and Lock remain independent while operating under the same banner (Revolution)?

On Cake it really helps to park the lobby in the "Welcome Lobby" screen. Just use it when you need it.

Also after midnight lately on Cake I've seen some guarantee tournaments run with nice overlays.

I like the Cake tournament lobbies more then merges.

I do play on both networks, I also like some of the timebank features better on cake. To be honest, it did feel clunky when i first played on Cake. But no major functionality problems.

HUDs work fine. There is no option for CPN on my HEM1 either. It automatically uses the default HUD selection.

Would love an answer to this.... I would grind my lock rakeback account anyday over pokerstars.

Now Lock aren't part of merge I'm assuming aussies should be all good to go?

Care to comment Shane?
Cheers

[QUOTE=imjustshane;32820084]Hey guys I really want your feedback on the Cake software.

#1. When was the last time you used the Cake software, they have gone through several upgrades including an important performance based upgrade a month or two ago.

#2. What changes do you want to see in the software?

Play on Cake and Lock now.

Cake's signing up for waiting list is absolutely terrible. It does not allow you to sign up for "all" of the tables at a given stake. ie have to sign up for "regular" "shallow" tables seperately. Once offered one (1) table , you are taken off the list. Hard to get multitabling going.

Has a problem with Cascading tables. Table that requires action, does not come to the forefront most times. Cake support has tried working on this and can not fix it. ?????

Agree with others about UB/Absolute s/w. Worked well, and should be available.

Probably a lot more cash considering they owe so much player money. Plus the DOJ has a case pending against UB. Probably a lot more work than just buying cake and redesigning the software.

I dont think the 60 day rule is still there

Shane, what percentage of players does Lock currently have on Merge?

The moment we switch over Australians will be allowed to play again.

What will happen to my 35% rakeback deal on lock once they move to cake? Also will u be able to transfer between skins? And the cake tables have to change. I can play up to 16 tables on lock on one monitor without any major problems but can only play up to 9 tables on cake before everything feels cluttered

what is the MTT schedule going to look like? checked out the Cake schedule and it's beyond horrible.
05-13-2012 , 10:58 AM
Also the HUD won't stay at the same seat for each table on cake. Ive emailed holdem manager about this and there's nothing they can do yet

Look at what the Merge Keys guy did and just implement all that stuff into the software. There's alot of really simple stuff that helps the multitabler that would obviously be nice. I like (alt or ctrl + somekey)= stack neatly

What about residents of states Merge blocks but Cake allows? Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, New York, and Washington D.C. currently have access to Cake but not Merge.

Will we be allowed in to Lock post-acquisition? Will we be allowed to stay if we're currently on Cake?

I sure hope they do not follow MERGE way of letting players play. How dumb is it to let player keep playing from states you do not allow to sign up. Should atleast let player that has account already be able to switch Skins, but that cannot happen because not taking new players from those states. So Dumb

i banned myself from playing on cake as well as merge. i hated both software so much and just played from habit. if you guys buy cake, i assume management and evetything changes as well. would i be able to unban myself as lock buying cake sounds pretty damn good to me
