My tables pop up fine when multitabling Cake. But only if it is the tables. If you are looking at the lobby or cashier or browser or something then they won't pop up over that which can be a little annoying. But it doesn't sound like that's what you were getting at.

Re: Lock buys Cake?

Will Revolution still be allowing name changes like Cake does currently? I think i read earlier in this thread you weren't sure how you were going to handle this. I would hope they have made a decision by now.

They decided that they are not going to allow that to continue.

Re: Lock buys Cake?

If i average about 500-600$ a month in rake at HU, would i be better off just sticking to rakeback or the vip?

Re: Lock buys Cake?

It might be possible that actual info of the VIP program would be necessary to answer that question.

For HM1 you will have to disable the preferred seating in Cake. I am trying to push that bug to be fixed but there are a lot of other higher priority bugs that need to be addressed first so I am not sure if/when we will add a preferred seating option for the Cake HUD in HM1.

HM2 should work fine if they are using the Cake software. If the new Revolution software changes things in the window titles we may have to update HM2 but those updates happen fairly quick typically.

Thanks. I just now realized there was a Lock faq thread.

Please keep us posted. I feel that us HM1 customers should still be taken care of when it comes to fairly simple stuff such as preferred seating options in the HUD. Well, I deem it to likely not be too tough a thing to add on there anyway.

It isn't really a big thing to be asking, is it? Hope this gets taken care of.

I've hounded them since October on the HEM forums about the preferred seating for Cake, and they seem to not give a ****. 2-3 years ago, something this miniscule would've been taken care of in a few weeks minimum by HEM. Instead, they're giving us the finger and I'm starting to think they just don't care as much as they used to.

As MicroBob says you'd need info on the new VIP program to make that call, but under the existing program you get 1 point per $0.10 in rake so you'd fall into the Silver VIP category (5-10k VIP points/month), which gives 20% cashback and you can redeem your points at a 10% rate. Combined that's less than 36% you'd get with rakeback.

If your rake was (or would ever reach the point) of getting into the Black VIP category, VIP is better (40% > 36%).

Shane did say the new VIP program would not be scaled back at all but might be notched up so at your rake level it might end up being very close. I'm not sure if you can switch from one to the other once you've made your choice but if it's close you might look at other perks of the VIP program as well as remember you get upside incase you move up in stakes or increase volume to generate more rake.

I would really, really like to see a Live Help chat option. If cost prohibitive to staff 24/7, at least have it during available during prime playing time.

2 years ago, Sportsbook-Play Aces was my 1st venture into online poker, although I soon added FT, and also played on PS for a short time prior to BF. I've used SB's Live Help chat maybe 5 times, always with great success. They have an overall site Live Help and a dedicated Poker Live Help (maybe thru Merge...don't know), and will switch you from from one to the other, depending on the problem.

When I have a technical problem (can't find a specific tourny, can't register, can't deposit, etc.), I really want to get the issue solved NOW so I can get on with playing....not email support and wait 12 hours or more to get a canned reply that may or may not help, resulting in more waiting, less playing, and lots of frustration.

I signed up for a Lock account last May primarily to get rakeback, since my SB account doesn't offer it. I studied the major Merge skins (RPM, Carbon, Black Chip, Lock) and chose Lock for rakeback, promotions, having a forum/reps on 2+2, and I thought, having Live Help. I'm almost positive I was told that Lock had Live Help, but its never been available in the year I've played there. Email support has been less than satisfactory, and without LockRizen's intervention, I probably wouldn't be a very happy camper on this skin.

I agree. Live support and/or an 800# would be a huge plus. I do know that other skins on the network already offer those options. Support via email only with a 12 hour window and canned responses is a huge turn off.

Re: Lock buys Cake?

If you are looking for support Lock/Revolution is a terrible option. Please refer to the cash-out thread. Lock has been bouncing checks, then ignoring the problem.
