hey guys so I was reading and chatting to people about cashouts, so let me know if Im missing anything here.

If you are from US you're only allow to cashout 2K at a time via WU. Lets say cashout takes 30-45 days (4-6 weeks)..Im gonna stick with 45 days because it seems like thats how long myself and others are getting paid here.

So if you have 20K in your account it would take 15 months just to get paid?

In other words if you bink a sunday tour, you wont get paid all of it until ~2015?

More or less that is correct. Though your time frames are perhaps a bit generous. Many of us have only received two cashouts since november, so the range beigns to look more like 60-90 days. Of course every now and then some request will get processed in less than 30 days, but it doesn't seem like that is the norm.

There's also the fact that some requests are capped at $1800 when the cashier auto-deducts the 10% WU fee.

It's always possible that time frames improve in the months ahead or Lock introduces new methods or increases limits. This is something that comes up a lot but rarely pans out.

I like Lock poker but the cashout tilts the hell outta me. 60 days just to get my 2K WU, meaning even if I somehow grind up up to 6 figures, I only get paid 1K a month on average.

It seems like this is another form of Lock Lotto here, if you get lucky you can get paid within 30 days.

Im starting to see some .45 on the dollar for Lock exchange now. I dont want my money to be like play money so im taking a break from the site until this improves. (if it improves)

hey guys, i'm new to lock. Ive lurked 2plus2 the last couple years. Decided to start an acct and start taking poker little more seriously. Have a second child on the way and im averaging about 400 a week profit. Which will def help out with added expenses!! My question is how do I trade lock money and get cash on my netspend card?? i opened a acct and got a netspend card so i could depost.

Trading is a bad idea if you can wait for your cash. First rule, don't announce you're new to trading when you go to the market, you'll invite someone to harm you.

You should put a pay request in right now to see the time frame and if you're not in the USA, get a moneybookers account.

Thanks for advice. I think i will put in a request now. I have my second child due in August and im hoping to get it before that to help with some of the additional expenses.

Lol to see the time frame? Really?? I see you posting all over the lock forums and you somehow fail to mention about how they tell you 5 weeks but in reality its over 90 days for many even if they do have a Mb account in ROW.

Man its your life, but this seems like a horrible idea. If you don't have enough money for your expanding family, I'd seriously suggest not relying on Lock to come through. Get another job or in the very least get on a network/skin that has a better history of timely cashouts.

Im not relying on lock at all lol, would be nice though to have alittle extra!! Im an engineer at VA hospital and a 100% disabled vet. My fiance is a nurse practitoner so we will b fine. Im just trying to figure out the best possible way! I never intended on having this big of a balance lol!! Like I said, I was always a break even to small winner prior to black friday so didn't think i would ever have to cash out. I deposited $50 just to have some entertainment and was not really worried if I got screwed over it.

@BABY$$ because I failed to mention, in case you haven't read the forums here and on the advice of other forum members, I took the opportunity to mention to you now that there are people who have been having trouble cashing out and it takes a long time for some people. There are people who get their money after 120 days.

There are also some people who received their money a lot quicker than others. That's very unfair, but it happens. You won't know until you try.

@NoChopNinja I don't think better advice is telling them to go to the market and sell their Lock $ near 60% with no experience in selling or trading, do you? And they definitely shouldn't go there saying, "hey I'm new at trading $, can someone help me?"

Now that im seeing some results I invetsted in hem2 and started watching videos and stuff. If level of play stays consitent at lock, I think I will be trying to cash out pretty often and want to do it the least painfull way possible lol

Transfers are Lock player to Lock player only. So you'd have to deposit to the new site.

Did you get around to trying to withdraw?

Im actually at final table now with massive chip lead. $500 for first, so ill wait till after this is over then do it in the am. Thanks for info, think i may deposit on carbon. I hope everything goes smooth though cause i like Lock!

or you just sell all of it to someone for 50% and leave them to worry about trying to cash it out
