I'm in the US. I was told mine would be shipping out the week before last (ie worst case it should have shipped 7 business days ago). I have heard nothing since and I have emailed and copied you a couple of times. If mine is one of the one or two that hasn't shipped, fine (but letting me know would be nice). Otherwise I am worried about it not arriving. A tracking number would be great. I just worry about things like it getting shipped to the wrong address or getting lost in transit or something. I'm a details person, and not having information just bugs me greatly.

I don't know all of the specifics, but I know for the promotion we've been dealing directly with a fulfillment center for all of the EU orders. Before we ever started the promotion we were proactive and contacted them to tell them we were going to have a large batch of orders and what was the best way to make sure that went as smoothly as possible.

Obviously what has occured is anything but 'as smoothly as possible', but believe it or not we really did put some planning and thought into the promo before we ever started it and tried to make sure we coordinated with all of the right people to make sure things weren't a cluster.

Without geting super into the nitty gritty of promotions, this is pretty typical. When we run a promo like this we do some analysis and estimate how many units we think we'll need, contact the vendors/fulfillment centers and make sure that we have the best possible processes in place to handle them, and that we have time frames on everything so we can set expecations with our users.

Normally things go very smoothly. The promo as a whole did end up getting more interest that we had initially predicted, but we also launched the promo pre Black Friday and had originally only planned on running it for one month. We did contact everyone involved before extending it the additional month and were given the impression that it would not cause any significant issues.

Again though, this is our promotion, so ultimately it is on us. I've been with Lock poker since March of 2009 and in that time period we've run a lot of different promotions and they've all gone off smoothly. To be fair none of them were of this magnitude, and I'm sure there will be some things we'll learn from this that can be applied to future promos.

Yes you and the other are the two that I'm aware of in the US still outstanding, although I should have parsed my language better. I meant 'arrived'. I don't have visibility into the shipping of individual orders so I have to defer to what Emily says regarding the shipping status, but the two listed above are the only two North American orders that I'm still monitoring that haven't arrived yet.

+1 to the US orders not received yet. Can you confirm that you are looking into things for me? Last email I sent was yesterday 8/15. AboveLucium on Lock if it helps track things.

Yes, this should be true. Obviously the proof will be when they start arriving. If you still haven't gotten an e-mail or an iPad in the EU I would recommend following up and making sure we have everything we need to make sure it ships out ASAP.

It is ridiculous to even ask... but those of us who waited over a month but ended up receiving them... do we get a smart cover???

I would have waited another month (similar to the whole $500 versus $700 for EU players depending on how (un?)lucky they were) if i knew i'd get a smart cover.

Sometimes it pays to be doomswitched for a while...?

Anyhow, black leather? :-P

Well - after a couple additional emails and an ounce (OK, a pound) (well maybe a bit more) of patience, I received a tracking number for my ipad. Should be delivered tomorrow. Will report upon delivery. I told Emily and Eric that I'd hug them. Not lying.

I am also in the US, still waiting on a tracking number or anything. I received an email from emily at the end of July, but no responses to any subsequent emails. (This is just me whining hoping Rizen will throw some info my way).
