I went to an apple store yesterday and they had 10+ ipads laying around of all sorts, so the story of apple europe not being able to deliver doesnt make sense to me.
My understanding is that they've all been paid for and ordered already, but most have not been shipped. It's the EU promotional fulfillment center. I can follow up and try and get more details, but I really don't think I or anyone else at Lock has any reason to lie about this. I'm not sure if the promotional orders like we do have a different shipping priority or what the issue is there. I'll try and find more information, but I feel like if it was some sort of scam to take your money that the cash option would never have been on the table and the NA users would have had similar issues. Since the issues seem to be isolated to EU orders it does make sense when looking at it from my end.
From your end I can see how seeing iPads in an Apple store might give you the wrong message, so I'll follow up so I can answer with more details.
