Hey All,

So although I am one who has had difficulty getting any response regarding my iPad2, I want to make this thread a semi-neutral place for everyone to update the community about their:

Communication from Lock
Receipt of the iPad2 itself
Anyone who has had success with special requests (Money for higher models, or different shipping addresses)
Anything else regarding this.

I personally have had a very bad experience, no replies mostly from Rizen and support and emily (save for two total) but hopefully that will change as time goes on.

So who has received their ipads? gotten tracking numbers? what is the status for everyone who has finished???

I did this promo in May. I didn't get any confirmation when I completed it but I mailed Lock Support requesting the cash option and within minutes it was in my account. If things are slower now I assume it's down to the huge influx of players they had. That's no excuse for bad customer relations, of course.

I just completed it yesterday. Thus far the only notice I received was the in- game popup congratulatory message. I still plan on emailing both support and Rizen with my details to hopefully push along the process. I will be opting for the iPad2 itself.

Bonus cleared: May 2011
Confirmation with option to choose color: 1 June 2011
My location: The Netherlands

- 1 June: Lock said they will ship the ipads next week.
- 8 June: Lock said all ipads were gonna get shipped this month.
- 14 June: Lock said order was placed June 3 will take 2-3 weeks for the US and that Europeans will have to wait 2-3 weeks longer.

3 July: still waiting for ipad
I haven't seen anyone though from Europe who has received it.

Finished at end of May, email begnning of June, no tracking number, iPad receipt July 1, unmarked box from Amazon, US.

Finished in May, got the mail Juni 1st, confirmation concerning the color the same day. Still waiting for my ipad.
I'm from Europe, I don't doubt I'm gonna get it though, the timeframe is somewhat vague though

7/1 - Finished promo
7/2 - Emailed support@lockpoker.com, cc'd rizen@lockpoker.com about color preference (Pre-emptive strike FTW!)
7/3 - Received reply from support mentioning that emily@lockpoker.com was handling the promo and I should contact her
7/3 - Did just that, and cc'd rizen@lockpoker.com.

Eric - thanks for being here on this forum, I'm sure you're getting a lot of cc'd emails, but it makes me feel better to cc you on most of my support questions. Kind of like an insurance policy.

It has been said a couple times that the orders from Apple take about three weeks to ship. Standard backlog from Apple.

Yes, I understand that there is a order delay from Apple. But after completing the bonus, each player needs to choose a color or the $500 bonus option and I believe the issue is in communicating this information and seeing that it gets handled.

For me personally, I would like the $500 bonus option so that I can upgrade to more GB of memory on my own. For others, they would probably want to choose...black or white.

Once you complete the promo you should receive a congratulatory e-mail asking you for your color preference, address, and phone #. There should also be instructions in that e-mail to use that time to ask for the cash option as well. If you've completed the promo and don't receive that e-mail within 48 hrs please feel free to e-mail me and I'll make sure the appropriate person gets your information and either credits your account or gets your order in.

Update - I've been told EU iPads should be shipping in the next 2 weeks. We paid for and ordered all of them 4 weeks ago, it is just a different fulfillment center in the EU than in North America and we are at their mercy when it comes to shipping times.

I haven't gotten this email and it's been over three weeks... I PM'd you, emailed both support and emily. Would it be better to email you? Can you confirm if so: rizen@lockpoker.eu right?

That should work as well, although I usually have people use rizen@lockpoker.com. I know we've corresponded a few times and I probably have some of them in my Rizen account. Please e-mail me your last correspondence and I'll coordinate with Emily and someone should get back with you today.

Email sent to both addresses just in case. Sorry its messy but I'm doing that(and this) while at work. Its not my last correspondence but i think second to last (very difficult on the cell, sorry!) and i just wanted to get something to you sooner than later.

Thanks so much, I know that at least one correspondence with you had my preferred color and address -- i can put together a more comprehensive email late late tonight if needed (Home from work at 10PM CST).

It is not 500$ bonus it is 500$ cash into your account, this may confuse some people!

Completed iPad bonus on 6-27.
Received an email saying Lock will be in touch within a week.
No email for 9 days so I emailed emily@lockpoker.com
Got a prompt email asking for color, address, phone #.
After I confirmed my info, got an email back yesterday that simply said "Thanks, best, Emily"

Don't know if this means they've ordered it or what. But has to be a good sign I guess. Will update when I either get it or learn more.

Ok!

Today I finally received my iPad which came via usps and required a signature. I know others have said their box was marked amazon.com but mine was not, however it came with a nice note from an ebay/amazon seller. While I am glad I finally received it, obviously it was not shipped directly from apple which has been stated in a numerous amount of time.

All in all, glad its finally here.

I got a prompt reply yesterday -- asked for address and such and upon receipt they'd order it ASAP. The whole chain maybe took 3 or 4 hours -- its only been 24 hours since i replied to Rizen (ccing emily) so im not worried, just updating.

Not really sure if there will be further confirm, either, before I receive the ipad. All in all, like girafffs more good news/suspense/anxiousness -- hopefully leading to an ipad in hand.

I hope they also grab a reseller new one for most of us, especially with the delays thus far. Its a nice gesture and for those of you that have got it, i'm sure its awesome!

Looking forward to the ipad and it seems things are finally on the move again.

There's really no more excuses now... especially since Apple have readjusted the shipping time on their website from 1-2 Weeks to 3-5 days. I talked with Emily about the choice of color and everything else over a month ago.

Hello all,

I am not sure if this has been answered already, but I have cleared my Ipad 2 promotion in early May and still did not hear anything about receiving the Ipad. I emailed Lock's support and was told to email Emily@lockpoker.com. It's been over 4 days and no word from her. Can someone please shed some light on this situation?
