High Stakes Segregation High Stakes Segregation

Can I get a confirmation on if Lock Poker segregated their 5-10+ tables from the rest of the Revolution network, and if so, why?
02-05-2013 , 09:08 AM
what do you mean
02-05-2013 , 04:39 PM
I see games on Lock that I dont see on other skins such as Intertops and AdamEve Poker for 5-10+ I only looked at PLO tho didnt look into holdem. And theres games on Intertops Adam Eve etc. that arent showing up on Lock. Makes me think that Lock segregated their higher stakes action from the rest of the revolution network...

just looked and intertops and lock all have the same cash tables available, texas holdem and four card holdem.
02-05-2013 , 05:06 PM
So as an example, you see Bigguylegend sitting 10-20 HU PLO on Intertops right now? I only see him on Lock sitting not on Intertops
02-05-2013 , 05:07 PM
And on Intertops I see 1 10-20 game running SlowKamikaze vs Vino4me but I dont see them playing on Lock...
02-05-2013 , 05:09 PM
Interesting. I see KaukoTapani and Jennifer1300 sitting 10-20huplo, but not bigguy.

Oh wow, yeah just checked lock and hes definitely sitting on lock but not intertops.

Yup. Same here.

Yea exactly, I think Lock has the games segregated at the higher stakes but I cant find anything online or on the forums about this change. I am just trying to bring this to attention just in case its a bug so it can be fixed ASAP. If it is a permanent move, I am curious why this change and is it just Lock players that can play with Lock players at higher stakes or is it a few sites on the network. I only have a couple revolution skins donwloaded and dont want to download a bunch of other ones to see.

Lock introduced some tables recently that are available to lock players only. I think they were part of the double agent promotion and now the grind for glory promo. I would check to see if the tables you can't see on Intertops are infact these grind for glory tables.
02-05-2013 , 05:41 PM
there are special tables for teh grind for glory promotion. The tables have been there for a while.
02-05-2013 , 06:17 PM
yup it's the "grind for glory" and "happy hour" tables that are Lock players only. They have them for all stakes
02-05-2013 , 06:21 PM
lol hes not talking about grind for glory tables.
02-05-2013 , 06:54 PM
I understand the idea and concept of the Happy Hour and Grind for Glory tables, but I am not talking about these tables...Look at all the others games in the Lock lobby in comparison to other skins such as Intertops.
02-05-2013 , 07:53 PM
Assuming they are segregated, what do you think is the reason behind that?
02-05-2013 , 10:30 PM
Yeah wtf there's like half the action on lock because of it. It's not just 510+ either it's every limit above 1-2 for me
02-05-2013 , 11:13 PM
I have never notices this ill have a look
02-06-2013 , 12:09 AM
I wonder wtf this is about.

Could it be that the lobbies are just lagging or something between the two clients?

Or have people opened tables on Lock that just don't exist on Intertops?

Strange.

Usually this happens when a casino or sports skin is trying to protect their player base from losing too much at higher stakes. I remember sportsbook used to only offer up to 600nl on merge despite the network offering much higher games. I'm really curious whats going on here. Neither skin is restricting certain games, so it seems pretty strange that certain tables aren't available on Intertops.

Certain tables just don't show up on Intertops. For example, say there are 25 10-20 HU games with 25 unique players sitting. The lock lobby will show all 25 tables, while intertops might only show 15 or 20 of the tables.

I honestly don't know, but could it be that w/intertops daily limits on losses perhaps tables don't show per individual acct based on availability to that acct's limits?

I play on intertops and don't think I have seen a 50/100 plo game being played there. Are those levels and higher common on lock? The past few weeks there was a lot of action at the 5/10, 10/20 and even 25/50 plo tables, but the past few days it's dried up.

Are you saying that when I play on intertops that I could be playing a guy who is logged into and playing from his lock account? This might explain why I have seen bigguylegend and the grinder playing on intertops when they are Lock pros. Obviously I have no understanding of "networks" and "skins".

This is probably a question that should be asked in the intertops support thread. After you get a response post back here.

Yes they are the exact same player pools...the "skin" you play on just brands it and promotes it in their own way, but they are all part of a bigger network (revolution).

The tables on lock, happy hour and G4G are only available to the lock player pool. Why is this and why aren't we able to join other tables from other skins on the same network and vice versa? There are games available to play that do not show up on the lock skin, especially at stakes 3/6 and higher.

also the available heads up player pool to a lock player is tiny!!! on other skins there are up to 10-20 opponents waiting for games and new players will never see the lock tables!! if you don't believe me check out juicystakes.eu poker.
