Games cancelled, did not get refund.

Today I registered for an $80 turbo husng and a $110 husng turbo and after about thirty minutes of waiting I noticed that the game lobby said that the tournament was cancelled. I checked my balance and nothing was registered. About twenty minutes later I noticed that I had received funds in my account, but it was only $120. What happened to my remaining $70???

On top of this, while I was waiting for these games to fill I sat two .25/.50 nl heads up tables. In one, my opponent left the table before any hands were dealt, and in the other I played for about an hour. I bought in for $50 on the first game, and when I sat out and left none of the funds were returned to my account. On the other table, when my opponent quit the second game I had around $185 and when I sat out and left, none of the funds were returned to my account.

Even worse still, over a month ago I had registered for two $100 husngs at the same time and while one of them opened when I was sat, the other table did not and would not let me join the game, and I was blinded out. It is obvious that it was lock pokers software's fault since I was playing in one game and frantically trying to open the other lobby while watching my t-chip balance plummet. I have sent four e-mails with no response from locks customer service, and I have also made a thread about this a month ago and I have not received a single word back.

I demand a refund of $405 ($70, $185, $50, $100). My screen name is "stonedbycatholics".

Just checked again, and the $185 was refunded into my account. It took a little over an hour to get, but it is there now. My account is still short $220 total.

doin a pretty late followup on this.

I was quickly contacted by Rizen via PM asking me for some details about the incident. It took a while for me to respond, but when I did, I promptly got an e-mail from support and they were quick to fix the problem. Thank you very much for the help Rizen.

That being said, this problem of missing buy-ins is way too serious for me to deal with, so I will be leaving the site. Hopefully Lock can get its **** together soon, because I really would like for this site to be successful.

As far as I can tell the problems have been fixed. It takes a few minutes for all the money to show up in my account but it shows up in a timely fashion

Glad you made a follow up post on this issue. From the sound of it, Lock gave you excellent service here - even when, by your own admission "it took a while for me to respond". Much better service than most people got during this time frame. Credit where it is due.

Hi there,

I'm curious what you told Lock support to get them to credit your balance with your missing cash winnings. I am owed cash winnings from a session (my PokerTracker shows a discrepancy with my Lock Admin page), but Lock support has told me PokerTracker is a non-verifiable source so they can't investigate the issue.

I read your thread, and I think the difference between our problems is that I knew where the money was missing from. I was credited $170 to my account, $100 was from a table that would not load, despite me being at another game and clicking take my seat in the lobby. This was clearly Locks fault, and I knew where the issue was; its not the same as me saying "oh my HEM says I played 99 games today, but SS has me at 100 games, where is the missing game? I am not trying to sound condescending or anything like that, but I imagine I would have a very tough time convincing CS to give a refund without more specific details.

As for the other $70 I got back, it was because I was regged in two husngs totally 190, and I was only paid back 120. Thankfully I had made note of my balance before this, otherwise I never would have known, and would not have gotten a refund.

As I am sure this is not your fault, I wish you the best of luck in getting a refund. I can see myself being in the exact same spot as you, because I am very lax with checking my funds, because it fluctuates so much in every session. It really is a huge issue, and the main reason I wont be playing on Lock until this gets resolved.
