Part I of the interview with Jennifer Larson is now up.

She didn't really answer anything, but the questions were good, especially those expected for the next segment.

Not bad. Much better than the stillborn piece.

Thanks Jim. We can always do a follow up based on feedback from the TwoPlusTwo crowd as well.

After reading part 1 of the interview I honestly felt like I was reading some of shane's responses he has posted on here. Felt like I learned nothing new at all.

Chris if you don't mind me asking what other poker news websites like gambling 911 were in attendance? And please ask Jennifer why did Shane agree to having a audit done over a year ago?

"One of the largest US-facing online poker rooms has confirmed they are exploring a Bitcoin payment platform. This is the biggest online gambling company to date that has announced plans to offer the digital currency."

ummm.....this paragraph is intentionally misleading.

Allovaurface a French site MyPokerSquad was in attendance. There was a poker forum owner there as well. Otherwise the vast majority were pros. I'm not aware of other affiliate sites. The last retreat it was just us and Bluff.

G911: Why not offer proof of solvency if Lock Poker is so financially sound? Why you do not have a 3rd party verify that player funds are segregated and safe?

Larson: The DOJ has shown repeatedly that it can and will seize players' funds and hold these for months - if not years - absent any valid legal basis to do so.

This situation makes it impossible for Lock to provide any independent, third party verification of the segregation and amount of player funds. We have spoken to a number of companies that provide such audit services, however, they are unable to state that if pressured by the US Government they will not disclose the details of the Lock accounts they audit. They have been frank and acknowledge that they want to be able to conduct business with US companies and admit that the threat of being "black listed" by the DOJ, even if informally, cannot justify their taking on Lock as a client. No other online gaming site has or can publicly open its "books".

I agree, questions were good. What are your thoughts on the answers? You can't agree with everything she said. Surely you know that the DoJ already has information on Lock Poker. If the DoJ wanted Lock, they could and would get them. You've made claims that you have been in the business for a long time and I believe you, so why not rebuttal her claims with facts?

Here's an excerpt from a thread on 2+2 that practically mirrors your interview and what she was going to say:

If such a leak occurred, it would destroy the well-cultivated reputation of these auditing firms, so such a leak would never happen. Second, the US DOJ has always held the position that they are not interested in seizing player money. In every case of seizure of poker site money (dating all the way back to the 2007 Neteller seizures), the US DOJ has refunded it to players (or allowed the company to do so) after learning that it was player money. Thus, Lock is not protecting the players from anything. Finally, even if there was a tiny chance that a leak could occur and the DOJ would seize the money, that risk pales in comparison to the risk Lock is taking to their business by allowing widespread speculation (and belief) that they are broke. Therefore, if this audit could assuage everyone's fears about Lock and bring the site back to respectability, Lock would do it in a second, even if it did carry a little risk (which it does not). In reality, Lock refuses to do this because they are broke, and an audit would prove that.

In other news there won't be anyone to confirm unbiased reporting since that staking platform has several Lock Pros representing them including "The Grinder".

Is mypokersquad a French site aligned with ISPT and Partouche Poker Tour? Are they are part of the Bernard Tapie Group?

Sooo do we know if the CGC has ever actually audited Lock? The CEO made it pretty clear that her books will never be touched by any auditing body, but it would seem that the CGC should have some pull here....

Yo Chris... will you do a follow up on your news article "Lock Poker Cash Payouts Resume" with Jennifer?

In your article from the 26th of May you quote Jen stating:
Quote:
“The E-comm team works constantly to find new, reputable payment processors to provide secure, fast options to our players,” Larson told Gambling911.com in an exclusive interview two weeks ago. “Our number one priority right now is reducing payout times over the next few weeks.”
And you also make the statement:
Quote:
Lock has significantly reduced the backlog for those waiting on both Skrill and Neteller payouts residing outside the US over the past two weeks.
Well, there hasn't been any significant change in payout processing. In fact since your first "exclusive interview" (after which a couple of larger batches have been confirmed by 2+2 users) things have slowed down again and not improved.

I would like to see another interview with Jen to make an official statement about the improvements made in the last couple of weeks and when those will atually be felt by us, the players.

Gambling 9-11 is prob the worst name I have ever heard for a site. I would never have gone there before, and certainly never will now
