Hi Shane, it looks like you are online. Can you please stop ignoring my pms? Thanks. Seriously, what do I have to do to get a response from support or you around here?

Re: FAQ for Lock/Cake move on June 1st
I have an account at intertops. I played only sngs there many months ago but quit because there was nothing but low stakes sngs that ran and then withdrew.
Would this move mean there is going to be much much more volume on the revolution network? So this network will have the lock, cake and intertops players and those other small skins? Intertops has double up sngs when i played them but problem is it was low stakes and never much tables. Does this mean there will be no double up sngs once revolution takes place? Also, i assume there would be an enormous amount of increase in players since i know there was a ton of players from lock poker? I'm thinking having the entire lock poker players into the cake/intertops network would probably make them even larger than the merge network?

There combining players from all the skins on cake + those from lock. Doing some theorizing, if lock is really 40% of merge's player base (approx 10-12k online at peak times). Then you have 4k - 5k lets say on lock.
Combined with cake's average peak time of 2k were looking at 6-7k players on at peak time (EST 6pm-12pm is what I consider peak time).
Of course this is all theorizing and not taking into effect of how many players will jump ship from lock to another merge skin. Combined with many other factors i obv missed.

In the other thread Shane said that sn changes would still be allowed but not as frequently. Sounded like the policy was not set yet.
Shane, are you saying that sn changes will no longer be allowed or just the frequency will change? When will the change be implemented?
Detroit, currently your notes stay with the player when they change screen names.

In your example you say the increase will result in 3 times or more greater traffic. For cash game players, as of now, Merge has than 3 times greater peak traffic compared to Cake. If Lock brings 33% of Merge's traffic to Cake/Revolution then they will both have the same number of players.
I have no idea about SNG or MTT or for that matter play money.

shane, my name is too long to be accepted by the current cake software. Will I have a name change request, or will that limit be changed?

Wow, thanks for finally responding. A simple, short response can go a long way. That's all I really needed to know...was that you were busy or that your inbox was overflowing. A little peace of mind to your customers can go a long way as well.
How am I supposed to know this or read your mind without you giving a simple short response? Why can't support@locksupport.com do the same and give me a simple response? I can't even get an automated email from support saying they actually received my email. For all I know, supports email is overflowing and I'm just making it worse by sending them repeat emails.
But how the hell am I supposed to know this without support or you telling me? Simple, I don't.
Lock and you recently like to leave customers in the dark.
It's not the fact that my cashout is taking unusually long in my opinion. That part really doesn't bother me...too much. In fact, I sort of expect cashouts to take a little while in today's climate. It's just that it's so freaking hard to get a hold of you or support when I have a simple inquiry about it.
Good luck with the transition to Cake. I more than likely won't be taking part of this move.

Little things like that go a long way, even if it's a pm that says "I'm not really sure myself but I'll let you know when I do." Shane I've seen you acknowledge the fact that you make mistakes, but are willing to fix them. If you can fix this aspect of support, whether it be personally spending more time going through your inbox or hiring some more people to help out, I'm sure lock's reputation would increase tenfold around these parts.

Yes, please clarify. Hopefully he wasn't referring to Cake only banning Utah and not the other skins.
|
A lot of players from merge banned states are hoping this change will allow them to sign up and play on lock. The FAQ says you guys haven't decided yet, but other sources are claiming otherwise. This is an easy way for lock to pick up another several thousand players over merge, and the sooner we all find out the faster word will spread.

How long will this bonus be available?
Standard current Cake Network clearance rate of 100 pts/ $5?
I'm assuming Lock will calculate FPP's the same way the Cake Network currently does, with no change planned?

Do you know when this will happen?
For those of us already on the network, when will we be notified of the change?
I don't often change my name but it would be nice to have at least a little time to choose a permanent sn.
