Jumping in with the DOJ jokes, especially that fast, is just stupid and trolly. The "OMG wtf is the matter with you. Your site sucks!" is ludicrous when it's an outage that is really not that long at all. Even moreso when it is directed to Shane and Rizen who are actually here doing what they are supposed to do (which is not always the case). Do you want them NOT giving you updates?

If it had been 10 hours with zero response or information given on here AND no reimbursements for players given in tourneys (issues with delays on that have happened before) then an annoyed reaction is appropriate.

But of all the things to get on Shane and Rizen and Lock's case about: this situation was not one of them imo...and least not to that crazy an extent.

Sites do actually go down. Even happens to Stars (I remember the threads back in the days when we actually could play there).

And a big key is how well is it dealt with when it actually does happen. I feel Lock pretty much got an A on this one....especially if they gave the reimbursements super-fast. Since nobody is complaining anymore, I will assume that they have.
+1, also i posted a few times that lock is getting better and better while there are still remaining issues.

Still, i missed on night of play for ronin...hopefully next month, they would run ronin again and i can play for once without any interruption.

I received refunds -- in R/A MTTs, only the initial buyin was refunded. No refunds were granted to rebuys and addons. That doesn't seem appropriate.

Regarding trolling, what is the rule on moderation of sponsored forums (fora?). It just seems we have an inordinate number of new registrants in the Lock forum and they come on and make trollish posts and then fade out. Is Rizen the only mod who can delete these posts or ban these users since it is Lock's sponsored forum or can any mod come in and take care of the trolls?

Any mod can ban the new posters. Sometimes they go undetected for a little while. If they're persistent enough then they will sometimes last a little longer if nobody catches them.

It's still not working for me, anyone else? I have not changed my timezone and don't really plan on doing so because that should be a supereasy fix.

It's hilarious to think that simply changing the date back a day gets the software to log you in. And just to see if they fixed it, I changed the date back to the actual date and still getting the error message. This is pretty ridiculous that something so simple can't be fixed already.
