The fact that a good chunk of the Big Chase prizes are already gone is really bad. Double agent tables are a fail and those prizes should just have stayed in the regular rake race.

Lock has taken a step way back this month. Promotions are more confusing than ever and WU disapperance is just awful. Also, the lack of a rep explaining anything this month is just out of control. This is their forum on 2+2. You can't just pretend your not reading our posts.

I think they know exactly what they are doing with the Double Agent promo, SAVING MONEY!!! They are paying out a fraction of what they are saving by cutting The Big Chase in half from taking away the # of prizes. They knew these tables wouldn't get much traffic, they had to.

I've played 20k hands @NL20 this month so far and have cleared $12 in chase money. Only reason I was able to clear that was I played over 4k hands of it on Dec 1st. The DA tables do not even run at NL20, maybe 1 or 2 sporadically at 6max but never at FR.

I think the rake chase accomplishes exactly what it is meant to do. It gets players to play a ton extra on the first couple days of the month.

If it was easy to hit a bunch of later levels at 20nl it wouldn't accomplish their goal, might as well just call it +20% RB

Cutting down on the number of prizes would be fine by me if they were actually using that money to pay their customers.

so can anyone tell me what the mgr has to be to qualify for the double agent? for example, Level 4 is listed as $50 in rake and fees - what does than mean for a rakeback player? I have like 350 in mgr this month but no double agent bonus.

i have been but not exclusively... been trying to start some but hardly any players sitting at the double agent ones. guess i have to clear 240 in rake just on the double agent tables to qualify?

that is correct. those specific tables you would need to rake the amounts to qualify

I like the idea and intent behind these double-agent tables. But once you fall behind in the rake-chase, does it really make sense to play on them? I think the field of players on them is tougher in general, and will only get tougher as the month continues. Maybe in the future Lock could do something like combining the Happy-Hour and Double Agent tables to offset this, if they choose to run these promotions again.

Don't even see why there are Happy Hour tables. Every cash table during the specified times should be Happy Hour. That is certainly what the email implied.

I thought Merge, or was it Tilt, did happy hour tables at one point? Sure, it would be nice to see ALL the tables award double points. Are these network wide, or just on Lock? I don't even play cash ring games, but I find the strategy of Lock running its own exclusive tables interesting. Are other skins running promotions exclusive to those skins?

Tilt definitely did. Can't remember about Merge. Good question about whether or not it's network wide... Would like to know as well, since I've seen people say that the players on Lock are better, so double agent tables were tougher. And if it's only for Lock that would explain why there are separate tables..

The limit hold em lobby looks terrible right now for this reason. There are 40 empty tables in all different colors. People are going to get confused and not play.

I can't tell if having "happy hour" tables is an angleshoot or poor planning. Either way it doesn't bode well.
