is there a page to see what this is about or is teh one sentence shane gave us what we're relying on

If I am playing at a "double-agent" table, will I be earning points for both my first set of rakechase prizes and the second set? Or will those points only count towards the second set?

Will there be a way of tracking the second MGR in the Admin?

Shane, there are no 6 max Omaha double agent tables.

N/m, just restarted the client and now they are there. Excited to see what the deal is with them.

And by double pts you mean what we have to exchange to money, not actual double rakeback, correct?

Thanks

The tables are not double points to my knowledge. They are for a separate set of prizes. So if you plag both at same time you are eligible for regular rake chase prizes and also double agent prizes. That is my understanding anyway but it is pretty confusing. Would like for lock to clarify.

This. Not just for limit but every game, seems pretty silly.

I hope the money management team is better than the promotions team.

If I had to guess, the double agent tables will take away some of the big chase prize pool. This will make it harder for players to realize the full equity of the chase since they'll have to try to manage leveling up on 2 different leader boards. Hoping that's not the case.

It wouldn't be a Lock promo without a little confusion.

Are these assumptions correct?
  1. Rake/fees paid at regular tables does not count for the Double-Agent race.
  2. Rake/fees paid at Double-Agent tables does not count toward the regular Big-Chase race.

The player pool at all games/stakes might not be big enough to not be hurt by this. Maybe hurt isn't the right word, but the new tables will likely make less of the old tables run.

I think shallow tables at nl are a waste since players can buy in really short at the regular tables and they divide the already small player pool. If those were gotten rid of it would help I think.

yeah I can tell I'm pretty much going to hate this double agent promotion. Makes the lobby look wacko and they split the player pool.

There will be Double Agent tables at all limits. These tables are Lock exclusive and will only be seen by Lock players.

In Decembers The Big Chase rake chase play at all tables including Double Agent tables will count towards the The Big Chase rake chase.

Play at the Double Agent tables will count towards a second table of prizes, meaning players who play on both sets of tables can earn double the rewards.

We have plans to use these tables to bring more unique promotions in the coming months.

First is correct, second is not correct.

The DA tables do count towards the regular big chase.

Just a suggestion, you may want to word this differently. I FYP'd

I agree that it makes an already sloppy lobby even worse. If the second rake race is decent, then I won't mind splitting up the player pool.

Thanks for clarifying before month starts Shane. Looks to be a much better promo than I thought after all.

Since play on all tables counts towards the main rake chase I don't think segregating the player pools will be an issue.

We wanted to do something special for our players but not destroy the network tables, we think this will do just that.

We have a few more ideas how we can use the tables in the future, should be an exciting addition to what we can do.

this definetly sounds good ... new month aiming for $12,000 in rake/fees hopefully some good rakeback

At least for hu hypers this really does destroy the network tables. I play on multiple skins; on lock these lobbies really dilute the pool (8 lobbies instead of 4 shown), they pop rarely, but they're more valuable to have (because of the higher rb%). I would hate for my traffic on other skins to suffer because all the action from lock goes to 2 lock players sitting each other on the Double Agent tables. You can be sure regs will have those lobbies whenever they're around, and why would anyone turn down free money to play on regular versions?

Not a bad idea, but I think the implementation is really flawed, especially for husngs where a number of the regs are playing on Lock. This unbalances the game for players on other skins.

Seems there are a smaller number of prizes than before at a lot of the levels. I think a rake chase should reward the biggest grinders so I shouldn't complain but I think I will be missing a few levels that I was able to hit the last couple months which is disappointing. Maybe I'll run hot and move up. I think I liked one chase with more prizes better, but I'll probably feel the opposite if I move up.

Traffic seems pretty bad in the games I play as well tonight. Idk if it's related or not.

Is there a way to track your MGR on the double agent tables?

This promotion is very confusing. I've only played on Double agent tables, have finished 4 levels in rake, paid 3 levels on the regular rakechase and 2 levels on the double agent tables.

I considered that maybe the double agent one refreshes more slowly, but thetunk has finished more levels on the double agent than the regular, which shouldn't be possible.

How do you measure your double agent progress?
12-01-2012 , 01:02 AM
the double agent promo seem to be good for the cash games, they were really great tonight. Maybe it being friday too helps, but we will see
