Re: Countdown till revolution launch.

Should be interesting but yeah the Cake software is terrible. I played on there a little after Black Friday it was pretty laggy and just awful. I even used to play on Players Only when they were on Cake back in 2009 and either my memory is cloudy or the software is even worse now.

Hopefully Lock is planning on some software upgrading, otherwise they may be doomed.

MTT schedule seems decent though, I'm on a wait and see atm.

Re: Countdown till revolution launch.

Any suggestions for current Lock players prior to relocating to Revolution?

They are happy ordering steak or lobster and not steak and lobster.
Only time will show what is true. We obviously know our numbers and know what our players put it. While we dont see the other rooms exact numbers there have been times such as with the Poker Maximum when we were able to calculate our player exact contribution, that was 66% a number that was posted a while ago and despite pleas from players for another Merge skin to prove that wrong no one was able to.

Our cashier has been our biggest strength for a long time, fast and reliable cashouts, unlike a lot of other online poker rooms we see no value in keeping players funds sitting in our bank accounts. The trust built by being able to process quickly for players in the current climate is far more important than some bank interest.

Our biggest downfall has been our customer support, we really took our eye off the ball with that. We have used this acquisition as the perfect time to greatly expand our support team and have also restructured that side of things moving the verification over to the dedicated security team to help speed that up and free up more people and more time for general support.

i just read the last few pages of the Lock Poker Cashout thread, and all I noticed was poster after poster saying their checks bounced. How is that reliable again?

We have had a processor bounce one batch of checks recently.

For months we have been delivering cashouts to US players much faster than our competitors.

It has been upgraded since you last played and is no longer laggy. I played there a couple of years ago on 1.0 which some people want back. I have no idea why as it used to freeze up on me from time to time. I did not play on 2.0 until they fixed it.

Still needs improvement but it is playable, at least for me.

Re: Countdown till revolution launch.

The software is fine. US facing sites should do everything to keep ROW payouts as fast as possible(1-2 days max), give US players semi decent cashout options(nothing longer than 1 month), and provide easy deposit methods. Instead of spending thousands of dollars devoted to slightly improving playable software they should pour their money into making sure they do not get detected by the DOJ AND deposit and payout methods.

I disagree, the software must at least meet the standards of regs/grinders. If the software is so crappy we cant multi table how are we even making enough to cashout? They are both very important cashout and software, we not asking them to make software like stars or ft just make multi tabling lag free and hassle free.

If you can't play 12 tables on cake without lag it's because your computer sucks. I have a pretty ****ty computer and have almost no issues playing 3-4 hours at a time with 8-12 tables going. It isn't close to perfect but serviceable.
