Last time this happened was last year when the clocks changed to winter time. Kinda killed the network for a few hours till the dev's figured they had to update the server time.

Once that happens and you're set your clock back two hours you will drop again and you'll have to set your system back to normal time.

I tried several "time" settings--nothing worked--***

There's hardly anybody on the network playing. I'm on there watching and the tournaments haven't restarted. Very few people playing cash. My feeling is that HammerMan is prob right. I'll get kicked off when they fix it, reset my time and get back in and that's when the tournaments will restart unless they just cancel them.

Let's reg to the GTD's they only take 10 players to run

Edit:

Okay okay.. maybe not

Edit 2:
Both doesn't work for me now. Current time and -2h. Guess the network move is in progress. Oh no wait, Shane said there was no changing network.

Their SSL sertificate is expired. They just need to renew it.
Ofcourse you can to change a date at your computer. But who know what will they do when they fix the problem. May be they will made a rollover. So I didn't think that it is a good idea to play at Lock right now.

it must be something else, I worked in technology, you can generate a cert, write a shell script and put it on all of their servers in less that 15mins.

is there a official statement from support?
08-03-2013 , 02:59 AM
No it is not official.
But it is looks like it is the problem of SSL cert expiring. That's why it is works if you change a computer date.

Very strange that it tooks so long to fix this problem. Looks like there is no anyone in Lock support. Bad sign...

33waystodie.. im in columbus too. do u know me? Eich? Neways I'm having the same issues. Im thinking they folded. Played yesterday morning and now I can't login.
08-03-2013 , 03:06 AM
I tried turning my clock back and I cant login still. Maybe they fixed that loophole already.
08-03-2013 , 03:08 AM
Happened to me too.

I have changed the date/time early and it worked for a while, now nothing.

if it was a cert issue it is as simple as going to your provider, generate a cert, put it on the server, and restart the app on every node on the cluster. Your can write a perl/shell/etc. script and ftps it everywhere and restart in a matters of moments. Every system adm has a script that does that in there homeDIR

and it gets the system time from the physical server.

it looks like if code issue because a cert issue takes minutes to resolve

I don't know what all that means but I'm guessing its intentional. I would say bye bye lock and juicy more than likely bye bye to all funds as well.

also can anyone connect to pokerowned.com right now? i wander if ZAB folded or is updating?
