Collusion and Lock's open ended response. Collusion and Lock's open ended response.

On March 4th, 2013, Tourney # 13877499 the 1st place and 2nd place winners had strange final table play and both were from the same city.

Their Sharkscope stats revealed that both were very new to their Revolution account. Both haven't played since I reported their potential collusion to Lock and Lock continues to say that we can't discuss other accounts with me which is understandable.

This continues to be their line with me even though both haven't played since I reported. Without saying yea or ney about the issue they leave it open ended. This could go on perpetually so they don't have to bump me up in the money.

It doesn't matter anyway. I don't expect to see the money anytime soon anyway.

"Hello,

Thank you for your reply, please note clients not playing does not always indicate a ban -- simply they are not playing at this time. As previously indicated we are not able to disclose the result of any investigation nor the standings of an account to anyone but the account holder. We thank you again, if you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.
All our best,

Steven

This is pretty standard. The security team will never share any info about reported players back to you. However, both not playing is a good indication (for you) that they have been actually banned.

There has been plenty of fool play, bad play and ridiculous play in the last months. Some because of players trying to collude. Others just play ridiculous cause they might have bought some funds really cheap thinking they could take higher chances on draws or even preflop with marginal or at best medicore starting hands. Any flush- or straight draw seems to be the new all-in hand.

I been having some big swings but anyway. Security wont share any info. Never.

They are colluding for play money and this is an issue?

While it is fair that security doesn't disclose their findings it is not fair that you and everyone else is not bumped up IF there was some form of cheating. Are you able to post some hands? Personally I find Locks email a bit strange. If there was nothing going on would they just not say that their investigation found no evidence of cheating?

Chopsy. It's much easier to freeze the alleged accounts confiscating the funds

So are you saying that if there was cheating the other players should not be bumped up in positions?
07-06-2013 , 05:05 AM
No chopsy I am not saying that at all. I was saying that it is much easier for the networks security to freeze an account and claim the cash in those accounts rather than going over the tournament result bumping up the payouts. Right or wrong doesn't matter. It's how things are done in general, not just by Lock.

Well., not 100& in general. Stars has shown numerous times in the past that they handle incidents like that a little different. Ref the chinese gang tha scammed millions and Stars refunded a large number of the players that fell victim to them.

Anyway, Revolution isn't Stars.
